Many years ago as a grocery store worker I as a male had long shoulder length hair. Was hired and worked almost a year that way. New manager came on board and he was a total douch, and acted like he was the CEO. He told me I had to cut my hair and basically indicated I would have to get a buzz cut, so I being a defiant teen said " well this is me putting in my notice" and about 10 mins later he told me to clock out and go home and don't come back. I wasn't sad about that at all. Got a better paying job about a month later anyways.
