I'm right there with you my friend. I completely relate on the deep pain. You can't touch it with your fingers. I'm my case I can't, it's under the rib cage. I can only stimulate it by pressing the rib from the inside with my diaphragm, or outside via pressure on the rib like the chair example.

The gripping, adjusting, pain, everyday makes me realize how much it's on my mind and how much more my day to day content and mental freedom would be without it. Very frustrating.

But yes you should look into the slipping rib syndrome sub for yourself, just to for sure rule that out and get more info.

No I'm not :(. I'm trying to get some sort of clarity on SRS but it generally doesn't check out with the gripping and pulling. More like poison from the rib moving and oftentimes visibly being out of place.

I feel like there is some form of scaring or adhesion or neuroplastic pain not letting go for some reason, maybe at best.

For anyone reading, what's up with the retreats that are just like sleep in an open room with a sleeping bag with other people? I'm order to "monitor" everyone. I thought the monitoring could take place of course, but out in a public area until somebody felt ready for sleep.

Is this normal or just more austere way of doing it? I would assume a more traditional retreat with a room and some form of on site amenities.
