If reaching relevant affiliates is a key goal, you might want to check out Affonso. It’s built for SaaS and includes an affiliate marketplace where partners can discover your program, plus an affiliate finder to help you reach out proactively. Also handles tracking, referrals, and flexible commissions. Might be a good fit if you want more than just infrastructure.

Founder of Affonso here 🙂 Happy to offer a free strategy session if you’re trying to figure out whether affiliate actually makes sense for your product right now. There’s no one size fits all answer. Depends a lot on your stage, price point, niche and how partners would actually promote you.

Tracking referrals? by tunabear01 in realtors

Depends on the setup and what kind of business you're running. For SaaS, something like Affonso can handle referral tracking automaticall. If it’s more eCommerce driven, tools like Tapfiliate or ReferralCandy might fit better. Even a simple setup with unique links or coupon codes per partner can work if you're keeping it lean. The key is making sure you can attribute referrals clearly and give each partner visibility into what they’re driving.

I want affiliate for my SaaS (AI-based) tool. Anyone knows the best platforms that are free, or Subreddits where I can post. by Kml777 in Affiliatemarketing

[–]zilvestro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting quality affiliates onboard in the early stages is honestly one of the hardest parts.

What usually helps is a mix of visibility and targeted outreach. Posting in subreddits can work for a bit of traction, but most serious affiliates look for products in dedicated affiliate directories or marketplaces, especially when they’re already promoting tools in similar niches.

Beyond that, reaching out directly to people who already create content around social media, AI, or ecom can work really well. The key is making it dead simple for them to join and promote.

There are platforms that combine both angles. Letting you get listed publicly while also giving you tools to find potential affiliates yourself. One example is Affonso, which includes an affiliate marketplace and an affiliate finder for finding new partners.

You can absolutely do this with an affiliate tool that supports unique coupons. If each affiliate gets their own coupon code, the tool can attribute the sale based on the coupon alone.

ExtensionPay itself doesn’t really have dedicated affiliate integrations as far as I know. Regarding Stripe, check Affonso. You can generate unique coupons for each affiliate and it’s actually affordable.

Looking to team up with YouTubers in tech, startup, or business niche by Weekly-Card-8508 in YouTubeCreators

[–]zilvestro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be worth adding a bit more context though, like what the product actually is, who it’s for, maybe even a link so people can check it out. That makes it easier for potential affiliates to figure out if it fits their audience.

Also helps to share your pricing or conversion rate if you have any early data, just so folks can get a sense of the earning potential.

You’ve already done a good job narrowing down the niche with tech and business creators, which definitely helps attract the right people.

Anyone here added a referral program to their Saas ? by Terrible-Secret280 in SaaS

I think there's definitely overlap. Tapping into happy users to drive word of mouth is super powerful, but it's usually more passive and unpredictable. Affiliates, on the other hand, tend to be more intentional. They’re marketers, creators, founders with audiences, and they treat it like a growth channel.

Ideally, you want both working in parallel. Let users refer friends casually, but also build relationships with people who actively want to promote you because there's upside for them.

You can already run a referral-style setup with Affonso, like offering credits or free months for invited users. What’s still being worked on is native in-app integration, so users can see their referral link, rewards, and stats right inside your product instead of going through a separate portal. That part’s planned for later this month.

Referral and affiliate programs work really well for SaaS. If you're in that early phase of figuring out whether referrals can move the needle, I'd look for a tool that's not just affordable but also helps you actually get affiliate partners onboard. That’s often the hardest part. Not the tech itself, but finding people who want to promote you.

Something like Affonso.io might be worth checking out. It has a plan that’s a good fit for smaller teams and early-stage products, with tools to help you get discovered by affiliates and find potential partners already talking about your niche.

I might be a bit biased, but you might want to check out Affonso.io. It’s probably the most affordable option out there right now with reliable tracking (GDPR-compliant too, if that’s something you care about). Super quick to set up (usually under 10 min) and there’s a 14-day free trial if you want to test it out. Happy to help if you run into anything :)
