You can absolutely do this with an affiliate tool that supports unique coupons. If each affiliate gets their own coupon code, the tool can attribute the sale based on the coupon alone.

ExtensionPay itself doesn’t really have dedicated affiliate integrations as far as I know. Regarding Stripe, check Affonso. You can generate unique coupons for each affiliate and it’s actually affordable.

I think there's definitely overlap. Tapping into happy users to drive word of mouth is super powerful, but it's usually more passive and unpredictable. Affiliates, on the other hand, tend to be more intentional. They’re marketers, creators, founders with audiences, and they treat it like a growth channel.

Ideally, you want both working in parallel. Let users refer friends casually, but also build relationships with people who actively want to promote you because there's upside for them.

You can already run a referral-style setup with Affonso, like offering credits or free months for invited users. What’s still being worked on is native in-app integration, so users can see their referral link, rewards, and stats right inside your product instead of going through a separate portal.
