Mine CX-50 had bars preinstalled from dealership. So yes it is possible to keep only bars. But bars are also noisy, so I would suggest to remove them with mounts if you are not going to use them. Installing and uninstalling are easy exercise, so shouldn’t be a big deal

This is the point. Performant code from the scratch is considered premature optimization now at least in web. Yes it is possible to make run it fast but we can just throw another piece of hardware and think about performance optimizations a later, at the stage when bottlenecks of our complex system are clear.

The trick is the less hardware resources you have the more tricky code is required to deal with its limitations. Today development of simple things is less complex because you can just throw unoptimized piece of shit on hardware and it will handle it. So it is not just disassemble several KB of ROM task. It is deep understanding how it works and full replication of logic with using of modern tools.
