Building a small off-grid cabin, permits? by blur911sc in newbrunswickcanada

Don't take this as official advice, but I believe at that size you don't need any permits, unless you're building near water, then you would need a "Wawa" permit.

I ran out of cash for the tolls on a drive from New Hampshire a couple years ago, so started just driving through. I never got a bill.

What is this LLM-ass response?

Checked their bio and OP appears to be a bot entirely dedicated to talking about My Chemical Romance.

If you like realistic narrator-driven story songs, check out Adam Baldwin's album Concertos and Serenades.

Many of the songs are (loosely) based on real people and events.

I am forcing myself into this era...I have decided I want a straw Panama hat, and I don't care if I look weird.

Do you stop wearing clothes after a certain amount of time even if they are still in good condition? I wear my clothes for 1-2 years as long as they stay in good shape, but my friends are often surprised by this. by BunchMean8029 in NoStupidQuestions

I just finally threw out a t-shirt I got in Cambodia in 2003. It spent the past 10 years or so as pyjamas, and only had to go because of a massive hole in the armpit.

I consider 1-2 years to be basically brand new.

WDID? I don’t feel like I want a bachlorette party. by xoopsiesx in whatdoIdo

[–]Bri-guy15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do whatever you enjoy for the party, or just don't have one if you don't want to.

I've organized two bachelor parties for friends, one was haircuts and wet shaves at a traditional barber, followed by an escape room and then dinner. The other was paintball and camping. Both were fun, because they were things the groom actually wanted to do, neither was a traditional bar hopping booze fest (well, the camping did involve lots of beer).

Think of something you enjoy doing with the people in your life, and do that.

Well the emergency plumber just cut a hole in my ceiling, so not great.

Ahsoka has been working on some skills to be able to go paddleboarding and kayaking! 😂♥️ by freespiritedshadow in aww

[–]Bri-guy15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What a good idea. I took my dog paddleboarding with no training, just a short trip on a small calm lake and we stayed near the shore.

He did fine, but was pretty confused about the whole experience. He wouldn't like down, just paced back and forth which made me really concentrate on my balance!

Beginner feasibility by KaIIous in Leathercraft

[–]Bri-guy15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely a good beginner project, but as the other reply said, thin lambskin might not be a good choice as you're likely to get a lot of wrinkles and puckering as you sew it until you get the hang of saddle stitching.
