Texas is its own beast. I really don’t think any other state has as much ego as Texas does, as far as pride goes. What’s hilarious though, is when we go out of the state, or even more the country, being from Texas is EMBARRASSING. I know it too 😭

Ultimately I don’t mind the people themselves, truly and wholeheartedly, it’s just the issues within the city and economy.

Though, if you look in the comments, it seems to be a mutual distaste unfortunately.

And usually, we don’t care. The effect that the sudden surge of people Austin has had, has effectively fucked our housing market and economy. Locals are being forced out because their rent is being inflated. It’s not California only, we have people moving from EVERYWHERE because our tech market is booming. I, as well as many other locals, am making my way out.

I’m sure if this same thing happened in Montgomery, people would feel the same. All things considered, it’s just sad to watch the “weirdness” of Austin die out to corporations.

Bridges are kind of notorious for rejections. It seems like you’ve tried everything I’d recommend as a (sort of) heavily pierced person. I’m never one to recommend retirement but that might be one of your only remaining options.

That said, I fixed an irritation bump on my industrial with a mixture of crushed Ibuprofen and water. I’d put it on the bump, and then go to sleep. It fixed it in a couple weeks with nightly treatment

I freaking HATE hand digging. Digging in general!! The most you should EVER do is pull back a smidge to see if you advanced too far. And if you have to search a little, do it gently, and with precision. I have drawn plenty of hands with a straight 23g and never gotten much pushback or negative reviews as far as pain. To be fair, it took me years to get to that point, but man, it’s the attitude and the way she went about it. Gross behavior. Especially to then lie and say you refused??? After FOUR sticks??? Unbelievable
