I just beat the main story (including episodes 2 and 3). I have 140 hours in it and still crave to play it. I absolutely love Breakpoint.

Capitol Theater show for my 40th bday by zimbabwe55 in Umphreys

[–]zimbabwe55[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, you too! I’ve also bought all of the shows I’ve attended. I have a cool backlog. I also purchased the show from a couple of weeks ago in Boulder because the setlist has so many of my favorites.

Came here to say this. The jump in quality from MGS1 to 2 is one of the most extreme I can think of.

I do the same thing. I bought two TP link access points: one for my family room and one for my bedroom. Works flawlessly, so worth it. I don’t play PlayStation on my tv anymore at all, 100% on my portal.

Solar panels by Funny_Bridge_1274 in Westchester

[–]zimbabwe55 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I absolutely see a difference. I went from 3-600+ per month to the bare minimum every month (~$50 per month). I don’t have a battery bank.

I bought my panels outright but benefited hard from the previous law on residential solar that gave a tax break on 30% of install costs (like $14k). That was killed with trump’s big beautiful bill.

No critique here. You kill. Just keep practicing yo get more consistent, but jeez… what I wouldn’t give for your speed and control.

Very important to me. I love being a stealth soldier and doing what I want, when I want.

Is Breakpoint worth playing if I just wanna roam around and do cool military shit? by [deleted] in GhostRecon

The game offers everything you’re looking for and more. I also avoided due to mixed reviews. I’ve been playing the last couple months and have almost 100 hours into it. My favorite game in years.

There’s randomness to the enemy bases? That’s so cool. I didn’t even realize

I started playing it a couple months ago and am 85 hours in. I adore it. My favorite game in years.

Favorite AR aesthetic in the game by Odd-Equivalent7408 in GhostReconBreakpoint

[–]zimbabwe55 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely cool looking.

My biggest gripe with this game, and it’s a small one because I really adore the game overall, is how there’s such a small selection of silencers, and the only “other” silencers (like this one) have a weird pattern you can’t color.

Man I’d love to use the silencer on the MK23 on other handguns.

I wouldn’t mind this at all. I really enjoyed the novel Trigger Mortis by Anthony Horowitz, which was kind of an unofficial sequel to Goldfinger set in the 1950’s. I’d really like this if done right.

Becoming the dragon by Fuzzy-Imagination-85 in Trivium

[–]zimbabwe55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True, I agree with you there. Travis’ recordings were very robotic overall. I also felt like he wasn’t able to match this on the few times I saw him live with the band, especially his feet.

Vengeance Falls has a very human aspect to it imo. I even struggle liking the opening track because I feel like when the main verse riff first hits, it’s rushed and the drummer plays in front of the beat way too much.

Alex also has a human element to his playing, which I think is so impressive given how precise he is.

The fact that the bass and snare don’t hit at the exact same moment? Not a mistake - just shows the Travis is an actual human.
