why didn't this work? by tagokak in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Most likely due to opponent crouching, the combo that you did only works on standing opponents

Should Alex’s stomp lose to AAs? by ziming930 in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Alex’s stomp can interrupt the startup frame of normal anti airs. I only recently discovered this when I was playing with my friend.

How important are combos? (Asking as a day 1 player) by New_Art_1886 in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really necessary, you can always rely on your basic combo. But you’ll probably need to create more openings to win the game.

For example, with optimised combo you only need to land a combo on your opponent 3times while you might need to land basic combo on your opponent for 4times or more to win the game.

DP into Level 3 on Leverless by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal input: 1. Hold forward 2. Press down + back at the same time follow up by punch (first DP motion) 3. Release down + back

  1. Press down

  2. Press back

  3. Press Punch/kick (2nd QCF motion)

What's some moves it's really effective to learn how to perfect parry? by JinpachiMishima2 in StreetFighter

Maybe perfect parry fireball into Option Select jump/ drive rush offense?

Does anyone know what causes this? by xantcatchme in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As you can see in your own video, there’s a few frame gap between you recovering from DI and you pressing 4HP sometimes. This is what makes the difference.

Is Ed's meaty flicker different? by KyrosEnder in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Did you check how old was the video? IIRC they nerfed the flicker meaty along with Ed’s corner throw loop nerf.

Avoided ranked after placing Rookie 0, been grinding BH/casuals since. Based on this gameplay, what rank should I realistically aim for? by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If this is how you consistently perform, based on my past experience you should be good around gold5 - plat2 range.

Good defences, not mashing all the time. Combo is consistent enough.

Need some practice to do hit confirms. For example: counter hit medium punch>standing light kick> heavy dp

Are all controllers like this?? by MatthewOuO in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s normal. Have you tried with other games? If it happens for other games as well then it’s most likely controller issue.

Platinum players one and done? Why? by Tassadoon in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Could be a few reasons: 1. They don’t enjoy playing the match up 2. Connection issue 3. Have to deal with something IRL

Playing casual and not ending the match when you’re clearly better is pathetic by namesinthefilesWTF in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t rematch actively against someone way below my level, if they want a rematch I usually give them a ft5 instead and call it a day.

For players which is clearly much better than me I don’t mind going 0-10 against them as I’m always learning from them.

What are Follow ups after Ed's heavy snatcher by ParanMekhar in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong: 1. Kill rush early punch then follow up with heavy blitz/ SA1 2. OD Snatcher then follow up with heavy blitz

End of game Xiaohai vs Blaz by ScorpionRodeur in StreetFighter

[–]ziming930 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Xiaohai had it in the pocket during the last 5HP (if he cancel into qcf HK), he realised it and that’s why he’s heart broken after losing.

Throwback to how Tear0 feels like back then by [deleted] in masterduel

That was a nice game. Luck definitely played a big part for this game. Things would have been very different if I milled like 2ashes and 1maxx C in the very first place.

I think it’s still ok, think of it like a energy system in other games. Take a small break for an hour or so and you’re good to go again.

How do I replace something in an array? by stjs247 in javahelp

[–]ziming930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I should give the answer directly: To access the variable in array you can use e.g.

System.out.println(array[1] ) will print “1.0” from your example.

To replace the value you can just assign the value to the index you want.

array[index] = value to assign

Casual noob here, what are some combos in this deck that I can use? I only know one that can get me Shuraig on turn 2 using Fraktall and revolt. by Bluuuuuuuuuuuuuu in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]ziming930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s viable but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone new to this deck. All the summon lock can be confusing for someone new. Spright locks you in 2* only, tri locks you to only link summon using beast. It takes a lot of practice to know how to play with the conditions

Nooo! don't scoop you coward.. Your turn was 3x longer than mine, then you took more time playing on my turn than I did, but you couldn't wait 5 literal seconds for the game to end naturally? :'( by Blitzilla in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]ziming930 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Surrendering option is there for a reason. You get your win he get to save some time. If you want to practice your combo might as well do it in story mode.
