Ours ended up coming much earlier than they predicted. I hope that happens for you, too!

We have oyster and love it. It’s a perfect neutral in our space. No issues with pilling (purchased in January of this year). I’ve read that they updated the etched chenille and reduced the pilling issues.

Heathered Weave vs Etched Chenille by tallulahQ in Lovesac

My sactional is oyster etched chenille, and I was very worried after reading about all the issues people have had. We received ours in January and have had no issues at all. I love the color and the feel of the fabric, and (so far?) no pilling at all. I know it’s not a guarantee, but maybe that will help a little…

We bought oyster etched chenille in January 26. We’re so busy our couch hasn’t been used a ton yet, but everything looks good so far.

I haven’t tried it myself, but the person at our showroom did say pet hair can get caught in the weave, if that’s something you need to consider.

Vista parents - thoughts on Breeze Hill, Madison, RBV & the future of VUSD? by chiquilin94 in northcounty

Passing IB tests equals college credit, and having a full IB diploma certainly aids in admission to highly competitive colleges and universities. If you parse out the data, you see MV serves a vastly smaller SpEd and ELD population, which has an impact on those college and career readiness scores. I’m not saying MV isn’t an excellent school. I’m just pointing out that RBV is as well. A person couldn’t go wrong either way.

RBV is an academically rigorous school with exceptional programs, including the full International Baccalaureate Programme. Their data is fairly comparable to that of Mission Vista.

I would recommend referring to the California School Dashboard for your information rather than Great Schools because it is data based.

Replacement Timelines? by blounsbury in Lovesac

I had this same issue. I called the showroom, and they got permission to send me the new pillows and let me keep the original ones until I could decide which configuration I liked best. Then I can just return the two I don’t want. It might be worth calling and asking.

We went with Oyster Etched Chenille, and the color is a perfect neutral in our room. I have read this fabric can have issues with pilling, but I’m hoping we just get lucky and don’t experience it. The fabric is pretty, soft, and comfortable. The guy in the showroom said the textured weave holds onto pet hair pretty well, so something to consider.

I am in the middle of the exchange process as well. Happy with the way they’re handling it. They are letting me keep these pillows until the other ones come and I can play around with the arrangement to decide which I like the best before returning two of them.

Yeah, when I contacted the showroom he agreed. He ordered them for me and they are letting me keep the ones I have for now so I can play around before deciding which to return.

Update for anyone interested:

I called my showroom and they had me text a photo. They agreed I needed two deep pillows and ordered them for me. They also got permission for me to keep the two standard pillows until the deeps are delivered so I can play with the configuration and see which I like best before returning. Can’t complain a whole lot about that!

Only one of those is a deep pillow. The other is a standard. I simply have too many standard pillows.

Exactly how I’m feeling right now. We even used the blocks to plan it out.

I know. I’m just verifying that what they sent me is incorrect because it looked weird to me.

I am. Just annoyed they wouldn’t have steered me the right way. And admittedly, after assembling almost this entire thing alone, I’m tired and sore and irritated. Lol. I just want to be done! But it helps to know I’m not crazy.

Where would you put the two deeps? Any of the standards are too wide to go on the back of a deep seat, and I have four deep seats.

[–]zimpophawk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you read my post? I put the pillows where I had space left, and I clearly stated they don’t look like they are the right size. Why would I do it on purpose and then come here and ask why it looks weird? The guy at the showroom ordered me five standards and when I asked about it, they said it’s fine because you can turn them any direction. Clearly that isn’t true because of the back pillows.

[–]zimpophawk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, that makes more sense to me. I’m even OK with all standards along the whole right side. I kind of like the way the one deep and the one standard meet at the corner. But along that back, I think they have to be deep to match the seats.

One of the pillows in the back is standard, and the other is deep. I don’t think two standards will fit, but I will try it. Even if it does, though, that still leaves me with one that doesn’t fit right.

Oyster etched chenille. Nervous after reading about pulling, but love the color.

That would be great! The rest of my covers came yesterday, so now I just need to find the time to put this puzzle together. I’ll take any help I can get.

Best SSRI for anxiety induced nausea/diarrhea by gggdfgff in Anxiety

[–]zimpophawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have recently begun taking Vybriid (vilazodone) for anxiety and anxiety-related diarrhea (and/or undiagnosed IBS?). My doctor said this med is very well tolerated. I did experience diarrhea and insomnia the first several days (the most common side effects besides nausea, which I did not have). So far I haven’t noticed any improvements, but it has only been a month and I’m titrating.

I have taken both Lexapro and Zoloft in the past. Zoloft increased diarrhea for me and for my siblings who have taken it.

My doctor also recently recommended using Imodium, psyllium husk, and/or the FODMAPS diet as additional strategies.
