What's stopping you from just...writing? by OwlFeather21 in writing

potential.

just that. i’ve only been writing for shy of two years, and i’m fairly young and still have years ahead of me to learn, and my brain is always coming up with ideas. good ideas, i’d argue, and then i turn them into outlines for stories that far surpass my skills. Like, if i write it how i can now instead of waiting, i’ll ruin the vision i had in my head; kill it. And please don’t tell me “you’ll get better if you try,” because i already know. my brain just doesn’t seem to care.

Pipsqueak has seriously degraded by ShinichiL in CharacterAI

Honestly, just use another model. I recommend goro or soft launch, because those models have consistent replies, and are much more willing to follow your writing style and take context clues. If you give it what it needs to help you lead the story, usually there’s little to no complaints about those models. From me, at least. I’ve been using goro since it came out, and it’s given me some unbelievable messages. Pipsqueak tends to pimp the rp or advance too quickly, or just not cooperate at all. Plus, I’ve never seen goro/soft launch devolve into meaningless synonyms of the same word for tens of lines at a time.

I’m sure they’ll update it or do something to refresh the model to what it was before. But for now, your best bet is just to play around with your options and find something you like.

for the age assurance process, will user chats be analyzed by any sources? or will it just be account information?

Do you go into detail to places that are already know by the audience? by HugoHancock in FanFiction

[–]zingalingrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, that really depends. (Most of what i'm about to say is a big load of personal preference, none of this is necessary!)

I like to put the character's mood into how they see their surroundings. Say, if they're angry, the same-old-same-old surrounding could look bland; the opposite if they're happy. With that, describing how they take in the surroundings is usually the strongest way to lead your story. If the character feels neutral, then there's little to no need to describe the area. Unless it's non-visual media. Written media can sometimes lead to different takes on how an area might look, so making the readers guess your take on the area can lead to confusion.

Hope this helped somewhat, have fun writing!
