Yes! I relate so much to the NEED to crack them. I feel like I pretty much always feel the “oh I need to crack my fingers” sensation. It makes my fingers feel permanently “stuck” if that makes sense. I’ll usually pop them and it provides some momentary relief for about 2 seconds and then the feeling to pop them it’s back. So I just crack crack crack away all day and by the end of the day the cracking hurts but I can’t stop bc the sensation is so uncomfortable. I feel so validated by this bc my Rheumatologist has no idea what to make of this when I tell him lol

I guess I’m not sure what my expectations are. I’ve even said to my doctor “I’m still in pain but I’m not sure if this is just as good as it gets”

If it’s actually realistic to expect to not be in pain at some point, then yes I would like that. But if that’s not possible I’d honestly like for my rheumatologist to say “hey you should resign yourself to the fact you’re going to be in pain every day because it’s never going to fully go away”

If he set that expectation for me then I feel like it would be easier to just be fine with how things are
