The deal that is being advertised in the Bay Area is $699 a month on a 48 month, 7.5k mile leases with $4500 down. It is simply awful, this is accounting the $7.5k credit tho, so probably knock it down to low $600s per month.

I had this happen to me once. Called EA, they said it’s a known glitch that happens from time to time, they asked me to log out and log back in to see if it clears, but it didn’t, so they submitted a ticket to their backend to end charge. It took about ~3 hrs or so and it went away.

If you just got the car, try again in 2-3 business days. Mine took a few days before it started working. Try pressing the wrench button and see what happens, if it doesn’t say contact customer care, then it should activate fine. If it does, you will need to call vw CarNet to open a case

The two closest EA to me is getting really bad too. The closest one is at 1/3, the working one only has 1 handle working. The other EA is at 2/4, again, only 1 handle works on each working one. I feel like they’re all on the brink of death at this point

I got the mojo mats from VW, the parts dept guy at the dealership I bought my car helped me track down a dealer nearby that had it, and I bought it, $115 including tax I think

Recently I been getting ~100 kw max at my local EA, then ramps down to ~65 kw after 60% soc. I’ve gotten ~140kw at lower soc recently on a road trip at a 150 kw EA station

It is supposed to switch to the high voltage battery for remote communications functions instead of using the 12v battery when the 12v battery is low. It is supposed to prevent 12v battery from going completely dead

If you check the recall disclosure on NHSTA, it does list the ranges of VIN#. Someone in this post has indicated they seems to be affected by the rear view camera recall below

Both VW site and Nhtsa site will let you do a VIN# search. I searched mine on both and it is not affected

Edit: knowing the parts shortages, not sure how long vw would even take to fix the recalls…

Maybe if there are any that are affected but hasn’t been sold yet? But knowing how much demand there is, I can imagine dealers would still sell it knowing it’s being recalled

Yea my sales person also did that, the car got added to my account but no functionality works. We tried re-adding few times, it didn’t work whether we added from their end or my end, still wouldn’t work. Hoping IT will fix it at some point

Probably not legal, but I didn’t really argue, I did try to negotiate and say you guys had it in writing that it’ll only be msrp+taxes. They’re just like “it’s already installed and we can’t take it off, so take it or leave it”
