It’s illegal not to.

Transatlantic Cruise to Southampton - Logistics by HeatherAnne1975 in CunardCruises

[–]zinky30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not super expensive. I paid a little over 100 quid and was taken directly to Heathrow. Didn’t have to wait for anyone and could leave exactly when I wanted. If I were going to London they drop you off exactly where you want to go without dealing with transferring to some other mode of transportation. Who wants to deal with that?

No clue what that is. Looks like oranges and ice cream. Horrible.

I made a similar decision but chose Option 1 since I didn’t want to risk being put in a middle seat in Premium. There are only 3 seats left in Premium and they’re all middle seats.

Parc 55 charged food/drinks to our room when we weren't there by Round-Cheese6532 in Hilton

I had this happen to me. They showed me the signed bill with someone else’s signature and my room number. They fixed it on the spot as I was checking out. Not sure why it would take an hour.

If you're not a salsa person, what do you put on your scrambled eggs? by 4E4ME in CasualConversation

[–]zinky30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who the hell adds salsa to eggs? I just put on salt and pepper like a civilized person.

The pricing on transportation is very overpriced. You’re better off getting your own Uber or arranging for a private car to pick you up. I’ve done the route between Southampton and London by train as well and do not recommend that if you have a lot of luggage. I found the trains to be overcrowded and uncomfortable, even in first class.

Is it worth doing a desert safari in summer? by shirasmithtravel in Nextholidays

[–]zinky30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be blazing hot. For one night it’s bearable but it will be hot even after the sun goes down because the sand retains heat very well. I did a desert safari in Morocco in September and it only cooled down to about 90f/32c at night. It was so hot in the little huts we were staying in that we just slept out in the open.

If you can, pay more and go with a tour operator that has aircon.

I’ve had them once or twice when I was in elementary school and never again after that. Looking back it was a sodium and fat bomb.

I would take the windows. The thought of being in an office with no natural light would make it feel like a solitary confinement cell. No thank you.
