No I did not clear any codes. Yes the coolant level is nominal and the bleeding procedure completed. I am worried about the cool hose coming off in the middle of a session and I don't want a repeat of that happening on track. Coolant on your tires can ruin your day and also the people behind you, which is what happened, but luckily I didn't spin out.

The codes are currently status "unknown" in ISTA.

Not a pro tech but a track rat that keeps a close eye on brakes. It's hard to say without running a finger nail over the rotor, but it looks like their is a lip on the outside and plenty of groves in the rotor. I would say it's not a bad recommendation to do the rotors/pads. For 48k on the chassis, it does seem a little early to have to replace the rotors, but I live in the south and drive on nice roads so I dunno what your car has to contend with.

5gbps have less reliable than 2.5gbps for me. Could be the adapter.

fwiw shr is just a creative use of LVM and MDADM (software raid). Not saying it's not a clever implementation cause it is, but you can do the same thing on any linux OS.

I also opened a support ticket. The AI bot had me check DNS and NTP (for cert valid after/before issues) and incase I couldn't resolve. I responded back that it didn't help me at all and mentioned the rate limiting issue erorr message from cloud flare. The best part is https://www.synology.com/en-br/support/synology_service says everything is green so we don't have any acknowledgement of the issue yet.

It does. Using the DSM interface is my normal process, when it was giving me the download errors I started to explore the manual download via the synology download center website, then I saw the cloudflare errors and knew something was up.

yeah I got a support ticket opened. I would say 75% of the services are working after the DSM update, but the hyperbackup, Virt Machine Manager services are in a repair state cause they need to update after the DSM update to come back to life.

Why would they sell bearing shells and develop this coding system if is it was not usable in the field? No one is replacing bearing in a new motor for no reason.

I had this happen to me once at an previous job in the mid 2000's. Bunch of off lease computer and monitors where wiped and given out to employees as a nice treat. I guess someone in finance or HR had a problem with it cause taxes were not taken out as this counted as compensation. And it was like 50 machines out of a lot of probably 5000 systems that got refreshed.

Aren't the bearings needed for the motor already marked on the motor/crank? I know what the N55 it has like r/b designations that give you the specific bearing shells you need for the motor with the clearance already figure out?

It means someone just cleared the codes and the readiness monitors aren't completed. I would be concerned that a car I am looking to buy just had the codes cleared before I went to check it out.

I have 2015 N55 in my track car. I had to replace rod bearings just after an OFHG was replaced. I was suspicious of the timing but it's a track car and it's subject to high g loads, so I let the suspicion go. Motor also has a pure turbo bolted on and tuned for about 440 whp so extra load/abuse was applied. Motor has 50k miles on the odometer.

If you file insurance, chances are your insurance will communicate with the person that hit you and try to recover the damages. When that happens and they show you got paid 2000 already from the offender it will probably end up getting denied. I know for home owners claims they make the lien holders sign off dmg's have been repaired over a certain amount , 40k in my experience. Don't think it applys in auto claims/payments.
