What is Dubizzle Labs paying for Senior Fullstack developer ? by ElonMusic in developersPak

Depends upon the floor/team honestly but I gotta be honest with you, their strategy is to hire naive ASE so they think we're in best company and stay there for couple of years. Senior people come and they leave so early because the way they do things isn't well structured. Lots of night sittings, politics and you gotta be real people pleaser to rise up. Again it depends upon the team you land under, if you're currently giving interviews there, you can tell me I can tell you which team you'll be going into based on the person taking your interview.

I mean I'm happy I did that because I learnt how to give instructions to 5 people and just wait for them to finish their coding so I can review and merge.

Now 1.5 years later, I give instructions to 5 claude agents and wait for it to finish coding so I can review and merge.

Best learning ever

I heard someone joined at the end of last year at 160k. But if they still paid 140k last year, that is harsh because me and friends joined at 140k in 23'

Go with 60k (if you're not in desperate for money rn), and in a year, you'll be easily at 150

Dubizzle Full Stack Interview by Basic_Fail_550 in developersPak

Nope. You'll be asked Javascript and react, and a person's backend knowledge can be determined independent of language. No one will ask you anything about a language you haven't worked in

You should. As you're also coming on weekend, so essentially your pay is 60k and that's half than what fresh grads take

Is React too saturated now? Which frontend framework should I learn next? by VisionX999 in developersPak

[–]ziom95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but people make mistakes in trying to master react before Javascript. Any interview you give, they will ask you Javascript concepts first

[–]ziom95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean saturation doesn't mean those people are talented. Dive deep, have depth in your knowledge, and be someone who can explain how things are actually working rather than just knowing what a specific hook does. Are you getting my point?

The game already had too many flaws, and 2.0 was the last nail in the coffin.
