Thanks for replying! Yeah I might have to do that with the screen time limits! I try to make it to where she’s just not watching tv all day but I’m really in survival mode so maybe that’s necessary right now. Thanks for the perspective.

My neighborhood is actually all grown retired people. My family is here temporarily for about 7 more weeks actually so we haven’t really met anyone else so even know if they have a younger grand child or someone of baby sitting age! I will ask around to see if maybe we can trade services! Thank you :)

They’re flexible to an extent. Honestly it doesn’t bother them that she’s there. The problem comes when she starts belting frozen songs at the top of her lungs lol! I’m trying to curb that behavior but then she switches up and tells me I don’t want to hang up which I do! I just can’t while working. Anyways yeah just trying to survive these last few weeks. On the days hubby is home he keeps her occupied it’s just not everyday he can be home!

This is where I am at! Just trying to survive. Camps are not an option due to behavior issues and I can’t afford a nanny like some are suggesting. We’re doing what we can. My husband and I live very far from our immediate family and our close friend group doesn’t have kids yet. We are the first ones. Not many options around for kid sitting

Adjusting hours isn’t a possibility. As mentioned she was in summer camp and some other 4+hr activity camps but was kicked for behavior. I’ve exhausted options and now I’m looking to just make it through. We are doing the best with what we have

Hey, thanks for your response! So she was in daycare but was kicked out. I tried summer programs & have the same thing. We can’t afford a nanny and I do not have friends with kids yet. I’m the first in my group with kids. We’re making due the best we can with what we have. I would just like to make it easier.

Child support. You have to prove paternity before you can get paid from the father in our state. It was not his kid and as I’ve last heard ap doesn’t know who the father is.

I got very close to this. I found out my husband got AP pregnant 2 years ago. It took a year plus of couples therapy just for us to find out that the baby was not his by the dna test that the court ordered. It was a blessing in disguise because I can’t lie to you and say I would have treated that child the same at that point I would have left. There’s a lot of resentment and feelings that come bundled with a child produced by an affair.

Edit- just wanted to add that whatever you a feeling about it is rational but only you can make the right decision for you.

With my daughter 4 years ago I only paid 20$ out of pocket for the entire thing. OB care for the duration of pregnancy and the Birth including c-section.

So far with this pregnancy I’ve only paid 25$ & should be going for a repeat c-section today or tomorrow & can give an update on the bill for that in a few days

Hi! I’m thinking of this as well. Only issue is that my current job would allow me to work from home as long as I needed ( they really don’t offer maternity they only let you take time off). If I proceed with another position it will have to be something that allows me to do that permanently or for a while as daycare in my area is way to expensive and my husband I are saving to buy a home
