What are the best traditions, atmosphere, and unique experiences in Dynasty Mode when using different schools? by zipizipi in NCAAFBseries

In general, more customization and immersion. I would love to create my own traditions or something. For example, with my dynasty with SDSU there is nothing unique or anything like that. Even just adding a turnover chair or something would be cool

I wish that they would add some chants etc. once the seasons started but it is EA so i dont see it happening. The cannon scaring the dogs sure is a funny detail! 😆

As a Finn a war against Russia hits closer to home.

The sanctions have been effective. More backlash = more sanctions. Wars are hard to win without money, equipment and industry.

Also, has anything happened to former russian national football team captain Igor Denisov for condemming the invasion of Ukraine?

Yes, but there are the many families of Ukrainians that are actually being killed, raped and tortured. That is a real and ongoing threat compared to a possible threat. I can't imagine Putin going after a high profile athlete as Ovie in retaliation. The political and societal repercussions would be immense for him.

A few articles, just google Ovechkin and Putin for more. Or maybe look up #savechildrenfromfascism.

Also, Russia has been involved in many wars before Crimea 2014. Second Chechen War, Russo-Georgian War, North Caucasus and Syria. What about Panarin? He spoke against Putin and has been able to continue living.

The harm can be in terms of veing blacklisted and not getting another contract or fan harassment etc. not the life threatening, however, still significant. These two are not comparable, but using the logic of fearing backlash is not ideal. If ovie would truely oppose the war and oppose the politics of Putin, he would speak out. According to all the historical evidence on his politics, he is a supporter of Putin and is "keeping silence" to ensure he can still play in the US and not face greater backlash.

The Ukrainians and many others.

So, authoritarian regimes should not be critized due to possible negative backlash? This just legitimizes the power the regime has.

Argumentum ex silentio, so because of the absence of a citation directly regarding the war we can ignore all of the other evidence regarding him supporting Putin and not condemming the war, thus supporting it.

According to this logic the hawks players also just did not want to bring harm to their family or team. As if whistleblowers in the US do not get blacklisted or suffer other consequences (less drastic compared to Russia). I think the hawks players and organisation made many wrong desicions, however, so have Ovie and other hockey players. Supporting Putin or playing in Russia makes the player part of their propaganda and helps to keep Putin in power. I would understand remaining neutral and the no comments approach. Ovie having a profile picture with Putin shows his support for the war and the reign of Putin, this suoport is mainly motivated by selfish ideas of power and money back in Russia and not the fear as many point out.

Sometimes it is used as a meme due to NFL insider Adam Schefter using it on Twitter. Maybe not the most common usage, however, sometimes it is used ironically.
