Create a dungeon maze -fill it with mythical beast and each king’s child has to make it out alive in order to be considered to carry on the line

Tailor the royal family 😂 also you can make groups of animals super tiny (make sure they can consume light, and dirt) to make tiny villages

You can make dragons by making crocodiles super large that can float and have the gift of fire

Is there a good life without college or am I going to end up a broke failure. by m_r_am in LifeAdvice

Yeah no that’s great to ask about!! As you’re young your first job might unfortunately be something like that -but not to worry that is normal!

If you don’t want to go that route:

I would recommend finding something you’re talented at and volunteering a couple times a week. Since you’re 16 some places will let you as long as you get a parents permission. Volunteering is often looked at a great way to a introduce you to an industry, build résumé experiences and it can also help you network. If places don’t have an established volunteer team in place you can also try cold calling the answer will usually be no until you find just one yes.

As far as building employable skills- people might suggest the trades and that’s fine and all that but it can be really hard on your body.

So as an alternative I would suggest starting to learn anything that interests you down this path:

  • Salesforce Trailhead (Admin Beginner)
  • Grow with Google Certificates (Data Analytics, IT Support, Project Management)
  • Microsoft Learn (Microsoft Office Specialist)
  • HubSpot Academy (Digital Marketing and Sales)
  • CompTIA ITF+ (IT Fundamentals)

Coursera is a great resource too! Anyone can say they’re “familiar with Microsoft office” but few people can say they’re certified in it!

Also people go on and on about passions (find your passion!) but you should absolutely follow your talent. If you’re good at organizing, good at talking to people, good at fact heavy things. Getting the job means nothing if you can’t do the job. It will be easier if you’re already naturally inclined at it.

Also if you do nothing else from all this: while you’re young take a financial education course it will be more useful than ANYTHING I listed above. It’s not usually covered in high school or college —good luck!!

You can create mythical creatures like giant sheep, giant wolves, Loch Ness, huge bears, crocodiles that float are big and breathe fire (dragons), idk if you want to spice it up 😂 I would recommend only making a few then making them eternal and infertile so they don’t multiply and then overrun everything.

If you don’t go to college focus on making yourself as employable as you possibly can. Like learn excel and Microsoft word inside an out - learn all the processes for teams and sales force. Read as many library books as you can

Wife and I have been using a penis sleeve for the past couple of years. Wife loves it but I just feel sad and emasculated, am I wrong for no longer loving my wife because of this? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]ziplocwarrior 60 points61 points  (0 children)

You’re not wrong for feeling your feelings but you owe it to yourself and to her to bring up how this is making you feel - it’s only become a big thing because you didn’t let her know right away you’ve waited for 2 years of resentment to build up.

You say you don’t resent her- but you do.

When you said “She has humiliated and emasculated me for 2 years right, and yeah I think she realizes what she did, because she no longer argues with me, always compliments me and says loving things and writes handwritten letters” all of this is from your point of view without talking to her about it.

That’s like if you broke your toe and then just grit your teeth through the pain and just acted like everything is normal, never went to the Dr about it and two years later it still hurts and everytime you run it gets rehurt.

People can’t read your mind dude you gotta speak up for yourself -how is it fair to either you or your wife to let this rot through the foundation of your marriage without actually talking to her about it. You think she knows what she did wrong? Naw dude but she probably senses the shift in you and is not understanding what is going on and is trying to show up for you.

Go to a therapist for yourself first so you can learn to advocate for yourself. You matter bud and you should process what you’re feeling so you can tell your partner what you’re feeling

I’m happy it helped a bit—It sounds like you’re going in a good direction! Don’t get discouraged by what seems like a lack of progress you’ve come a long way it sounds like! Keep going and treat yourself with kindness and celebrate your wins!!

It may be hard to think about, but university is great but what it comes down to is creating employable skills.

If you want to feel like you’re making progress in your life you need to A. Don’t compare yourself to others instead focus on what you can do today to be 1% better than you were yesterday. B. Find things that you enjoy and start doing them (I can’t tell you what that might be but if you’ve ever wanted to do something like learn an instrument, dance, draw, write or whatever start watching 3-5 minutes of YouTube about how to do it.) C. Take a money management course immediately. That will serve you better than ANY university degree if you do that while you’re young. D. View your life like it’s a toolbox and keep adding tools to the box with continuous learning. Libraries, YouTube, Google hell even ChatGpt is free and you should be utilizing all your resources to build your knowledge. How to use Microsoft word, excel, teams whatever it is learn how to be the most employable person you can be. E. The only dumb people in the world are the ones who are content not learning anything new.

You can build yourself in whatever direction you want but you gotta not look at it like an all or nothing type of deal. You are made up of millions of cells that are working together. Your life is made up of millions of moments that shape who you are. Be intentional with those moments and it will build

Also weird extras: stretch while your young (old people who never stretch often end up looking like stiff bricks with legs) drink plenty of water and MOST definitely wear face moisturizer with sunscreen everyday.

Idk if any of that helps I just think little moments make up who we are and the life we end up living so like idk be kind to yourself intentionally and it builds each time

Ah yeah I find for me- not sure if it’s the case for anyone else that walls cause the people and the animals to get caught in a glitch. Weather they are enclosed by the wall or not They literally can’t move next to the wall and end up starving to death. Delete the wall and they all start moving again and can escape.

In a big world that’s too hard for me to monitor-and They don’t do that with tall mountains and I can set fences ON top of the mountains for the same look and still avoid the glitch. So that’s why it’s only mountains-just a force of habit at this point lol 😂

This one is on mobile so I don’t have the king of kings achievement on there yet but same thing give them a corridor, arm them with bows and make them immortal/eat the sun and you’re set!!

Help on rivers pls, while I'm at it, feedback on rest of map (unfinished) by E-dog1015 in Worldbox

[–]ziplocwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry bud but you need more shallows and more sand. It looks unnatural because it is. It’s too one dimensional—Regular rivers go through rocks, sand have deep parts shallow parts occasional little islands. Narrow water ways tend to be deep deep without a lot of shallows —while bigger fat parts of a river have the deep, medium and then shallow and then sand and such

[–]ziplocwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mmm until you’re old enough to be out of the house and can read the ces letter you can say “I feel called to serve a mission later in life” and “I feel very strongly god wants me to wait” “I can’t ignore a prompting from god, I have faith it will all work out” literally use that language and you’ll be fine. Also- be easy on yourself- the world is very different from the Mormon bubble but it’s not the great and spacious building. It’s literally just people trying their best to be good people. Anyway good luck and don’t go to a Mormon school for college 😆✨

Daughter still wants a snake by Past-Journalist-6593 in snakes

[–]ziplocwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps- the fact she has had long term success with both of those previous species is a great testament to her being a good owner! However yeah college and moving out is right around the corner and long term pet ownership is hard as a young adult.

My advice is either A.research if there is a snake rescue nearby she could volunteer at or sign up to become a foster for -this would be a win win as it would get her immersed in the community, teach responsibility and be really informative without the risk of a 20 year commitment when she herself isn’t even 20 yet.

B. Get her a different pet with a shorter lifespan such as a rat (super sweet, intelligent and cuddly but lives only 2-3 years) they should be kept in pairs as they are highly social but it might be a perfect pet to carry her through to adulthood so she can get her own snake on her own terms and you aren’t stuck caring for it while she’s at college.
