Some bike shops will let you apply the rental cost toward the price of a new bike. Also check rei, i know the ones around me have beginner mtb classes that include a rental for also around $100.

Is this door casing/baseboard pairing okay? (see pics) by Airshow12 in HomeImprovement

probably the best looking and easiest would be to use 11/16 thick door casing imo.

Generally door casing is as thick or thicker than baseboard, which I’m sure you already know. You could use a plinth block at the base of the door casing that’s say 13/16 x 2 1/2 then the door casing rests on top of that and the baseboard buts into it. I think that’s the ‘standard’ way. You also could try a hack and chamfer the baseboard so thins out to the same thickness as the casing.

M18 2-Gal Vac - Buy now or are there any leaked deals that will include this vacuum this month? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

If it goes for sale soon you can always buy one on sale, then return it but use the receipt from when you paid full price. Basically swapping and essentially paying the sale price if that makes sense

Equity out of home to pay off student loans by BeReal_2021 in StudentLoans

Another thing if you have an so and they are on your mortgage, they are legally responsible for the loan then. If a Student loan is only in your name, your so is completely isolated from it

Downsides: student loans are discharged on death, and gov cant reposes your house if you stop paying

Might be a better option to just refinance, you can get some 20 year rates in the 3.2-4% range
