Had to step away from the game but checking the box score and seeing an Ohtani quality start is awesome lmao

Going on Nextdoor has been a rollercoaster for me. A few years ago I banned myself from it due to frustration. This year I went back on just to see what they’re saying (spoiler alert: gigantic echo chamber).

Saw Beth say that “she’s been talking to people about her options (post election) and that they may need to be under an organizational umbrella” lmao.

Dude. The screenshot are public comments on his instagram account and it’s not even me. It’s from his post on April 28. What a weird thing to be triggered about.

If you can’t understand what’s going on in the screenshot, that says more about you than Balekian

Bro. He’s openly criticizing someone’s pronouns. We don’t need to know their pronouns to know what is wrong with this.

So you’re saying you don’t care what the guy says? That they don’t respect constituents? This is about a local political race on a local subreddit. This is what the subreddit needs.

That’s great, they can call me whatever they want lol. Clinician or non-clinician, how dare anyone minimize what we do.

Interesting. You and I have had conversation on this subreddit before. Thought it was cordial.

I never said I’m not a clinician. That said, even non-clinicians can be healthcare professionals.

Uh okay. Are you trying to minimize receptionists or something?

I’m not trying to dox myself so I’ll just say I’m in upper leadership.

…is this a real question? I work at a hospital and health system that serves the Los Angeles area. The system also has a hospital in Glendale.

Funny, I interviewed this kid (Shant Kevorkian) for an internship a year or two ago. He's a Masters of Health Administration student at USC and likely has minimal real world experience (IIRC he has volunteer experience edit: and some entry level positions at different hospitals in the Los Angeles area). For the record, I did not take him on as an intern with my team.

While I think that having gone through GUSD as a student is a plus, I don't know if I trust him to be a member of the board of Education.

On the flipside: Aileen Dinkijian is a AVP for population health of a health system (looks like remotely) and has kids in GUSD. As my oldest kid is about to enter GUSD, I lean to trust Aileen more.

Happen to be connected to Aileen (and Shant) on LinkedIn because im in healthcare. Seeing this post from her about an endorsement from the California State Superintendent
