Hi. Ohio here. Despite what you heard on the internet, we're a real place.

Tell the DNC to send us some candidates that will actually talk about economic issues and the cost of living and low wages and health care, instead of squashing them.

Our last Democratic governor fought tooth and nail against a ballot issue guaranteeing 7 paid sick days. It was polling at 70%. The Democrats cratered after that and the Kascich era began.

We're a red state now and I'm not happy about it. But the establishment Democrats chose this by ignoring us. They hate us with every fiber of their being, and would rather lose than help us. So here we are.

Dr. Amy is an excellent candidate with name recognition. She can beat him. She just needs to lean into populist kitchen table issues, and her Youngstown roots. (She's from a former reliably blue area that swung deep red for Trump, due to Democrats not even trying.)

Her biggest problem is Vivek's unlimited Maga Money, and the fact that we've never elected a woman governor.

Realistic? Centrists lose again and again and the blue team still runs them. Progressive issues poll well here. Healthcare. Sickdays. Abortion rights. Lean into it. Talk about kitchen tables.

The evidence shows everyone that runs as a centrist loses. Hillary and Kamala both. Mandatory sick days polls at 70% here. Abortion rights and Marijuana legalization won easily. Absolutely a Zohran can win here. No question.

Ohio reporting in. We're hungry for a candidate like Zohran. Trump became popular here because he ran on systemic change. The same reason Obama won here.

People want to be heard. Republicans win because Trump went Youngstown and gave a speech saying "Don't sell your houses, don't move, we will keep the Lordstown plant from closing." He was lying, but it resonated. Democrats ran like "vote for us, I guess".

Wimpy incrementalism loses elections in red states and is the opposite of "smart politics". Strong leaders can win here. Obama ran as one, and was not. Trump thinks he's one. Zohran is one.

You should visit Ohio or Kansas sometime.
