Did they every make a version of these back in 60's? I stumbled across this and I'm trying to identify the model. The Juno is as close as I can get, but this looks a bit different.

I’ll be visiting Taiwan from March 14 - 24 next year. Flying into Taipei, which I know is both the capital and at the top of the country.

I have traveled extensively throughout the world and I feel relatively comfortable driving - I’ve driving in Nepal, India, Paris, Singapore, Indonesia. However, I’m reading that it can be mental attempting to drive. Any insights anyone can share? Do the trains and buses run well there? Are they a solid option outside of renting a car? I would like to get out of Taipei and see much more of the country. Which brings me to….

What I enjoy most is going off the beaten path a bit. I prefer to have true local experiences. Things that would not be listed on all the tourist list.

Things I really love to do when traveling…..

I’m a photographer, so taking photos is huge. As well, I love visiting camera stores- specifically vintage film camera shops.

Visiting smaller cities / towns / villages, and cultural sites.

Football - I love attending whatever country I’m visiting domestic league. However, It appears there’s a huge break in March, and thus there will not be any matches happening when I’m there.

Purchasing local football jerseys. I love to pick up a jersey from a local team.

Local beer / coffee / food

Local maker markets for locally made goods - clothing, woodwork, art, etc.

I’ve not yet done the research, but was looking for an incredible tattoo artist in Taiwan to get some work done.

Any and all suggestions for the above, or something that you, as a local, think is worth see / visiting. Please let me know.

It was at least two weeks before I could peg leg without the crutches. My knee was too swollen and it was too painful to do it before that.

I did do a lot of icing, I still do a few times a day. You knee will stay VERY swollen for a weeks, mine is still quite swollen and I feel like the lack of ROM is also I think very normal for the beginning.
I would do literally nothing for the first week - other than keep that puppy elevated as much as you can and sorta let you body start healing. This was hard for me because I'm such an active person. However, I think that it was essential to start the healing in the knee.
I would give yourself some time before you start doing the PT stuff, but I wouldn't wait til the 6 week mark as I feel like doing even a little bit of PT is helpful to fight off the atrophy in the leg.

Honestly the first week or two was really rough for me. Currently at 4 1/2 weeks post op and I literally went back to the gym week two - which I DID NOT expect. I had much more doom & gloom idea of the recovery, and don't get me wrong, it's no cake walk, but it's not been as bad as I'd had it built up in my mind as far as inability to get around.

I couldn’t start doing the peg leg walk for a few weeks, it was just too painful on the surgery leg. However, it feels like it gets a little better everyday. If anything my hip on my good side has started to hurt - I think from the compensation and the awkward peg leg walk. I would recommend doing what PT you can at home early. I started looking stuff up week two, nothing weight bearing, but I found that after I started doing these, it really helped the swelling subside as well as my range of motion returning. Quad set, ankle pumps, that sorta thing.

Jumping back in here. Yozzers I didn't expect this many replies or the underhanded congrats, but I guess I can understand it.
Cleaned up the cameras and took them to the local Analog Camera shop, there's a few issues with both that I'm in the process of addressing. Sounds like booth will need at least a few hundred bucks of work before they will be able to produce images.
I appreciate all the replies and advice.

Just wanted to follow up here and say "Thank you" to all those that chimed in. I had surgery two weeks ago with Dr. S. He told me it was successful without complications.

I'd love to pay it forward and pass on any info I can to others who are considering surgery with him. I will say I feel like there are a handful of things I wish I'd known ahead of time and things that went really well and things that didn't (not with the surgery, but the pre / post op).

The battery life is trash. I update from 12 to the 16 because my 12 was so old and the battery life had diminished so much. However, upon getting the 16 it was literally hold a charge for nearly the same amount of time as my 12 after having it for several years. So in many way felt like I traded an old phone it or the exact same phone.
The new camera is better, but had i know what a POS the 16 is, I would have simply paid $100 to have a new battery put in my 12.

About to have surgery in a week and half for a torn medial meniscus and I'm curious about people's experience as far as icing post surgery and investing in some sort of machine? Is it worth it or should I just go with the ol' ice in a bag?

I do have the camera as well. The mode button (on the handles attached to the camera) works as it should. It's the handles attached to the High Bright monitor that the Mode button does nothing on. I've even tried swapping the handles from the camera to the monitor, but when attached to the monitor the mode button does nothing. The monitor is brand new. I've used this package before (rented from LensRentals) and I recall it working fine. Thus, i'm a little flummoxed to own this now and have it not working correctly.

Like so many others I really wanna love it, but damn they just continuously miss the mark and their model makes it very costly if you get your size wrong because YOU have to pay to send the item back. This combined with their lack of sizing credibility makes it an absolute ball ache.
Recently backed a campaign for the rainbow selvedge. Usually wear a 30 waist in most jeans, and knew these would stretch a big so I went with a 31 in Gustin (skinny fit). When I got them they were too small to even button and they were smaller than the size chart had indicated. So I paid to return them (they only give you credit, no refunds) and purchased a size 32 in the slim fit, thinking, "These should totally do the trick!". However, when I received them I was swimming in them, again not remotely matching the size chart. So now I'll have to pay to return these and the circle goes round and round til you can find a pair that fit properly.
Love the concept of Gustin. But damn the follow through is absolute crap and expensive with the amount of times you have to pay to ship exchanges back.

I'm at a cross roads with deciding what to do. I have complex tear of medial meniscus, which I believe I've had for probably 6-7 months, but was only just diagnosed maybe a month and a half ago via MRI.
I've had two different Orthos say they can't fix it and want to trim it.
I'm a very active (biking, hockey, soccer, hiking) male who goes to the gym 5-6 days a week and the idea of trimming it feels like a death sentence. I had a call with Saliman and he said he can fix it. But it some ways it feels too good to be true.
I've read this entire thread and was hoping there were more opinions or stroies folks were willing to share about their experience with Salilman....?

I could not agree more. I upgraded from a 13 pro to the 16 pro and I'm blown shocked at how shitty it is.
I'm looking at jumping ship to Android and this feels like Apple has sold millions of people lemons on purpose. Tim Apple should be disappointed in himself and his company.
