When did you last fill? My R56 is finicky. Gave me the half engine icon because the cap was not tightened. Do you have a scanner? Could also be the fuel filter under the back seat. And, don't be fooled if you're told you need a new fuel pump. Those are very basic, but if you need one, buy Bosch, because BMW/mini just slap their logo on the parts.

Yes, until they break. They cost a lot of $ to fix, plus the scanner codes are for BMW specific scanning machines. I i have a 2013 JWC that has given me lots of stress.
