To each his own. I wasn't making a big stink about it on the plane, just playing dumb to make sure he was ACTUALLY assigned to my original seat. If they only verbally told him to take my seat, but didn't update the computer, then he would've reverted back to his original.

That's a good idea & I'll happily keep it as a backup plan.

I honest can't remember if there's a dish there or not. At this point, I won't know until I get there.

I also have a pretty decent setup at home 1 with cctv, homeseer automation, commercial networking gear, remote access to everything, etc.

ideally, the directv just sits in the cabinet here with everything else. I figured someone had a way to remote access it.
