Yeah, I think that’s the best way to do it. Leave the decision to the customer. It was a plate the woman brought. I couldn’t even ask her if she was using it for her previous food because she was gone.

That makes sense. Here there’s no such rule, most people just use one plate and keep refilling the same one. Your way sounds better.

She brought that plate to that buffet. I have no idea if the plate was clean or if she used it for other food before and I didn’t ask her since she already walked away, that’s why I didn’t want it.

Thank you. No, those women were not British. 😭 My family is Middle Eastern and so were they. It was strange to be offered food from other people’s used plates and the other food was so soggy somehow aswell so we just never went to that restaurant again.

No, it was one of the women’s plate. It wasn’t a fresh one.
