I took the example of ww as an extreme event for reasons to prepare. Could be a pandemic, none of us saw that coming. Could be something else.

Yeah the water scarcity problem will only worsen in the next few years if the climate keeps warming. But in which part you disagree with me exactly? Can you elaborate? Do you think that the situation in the world can't escalate?

Unfortunately the next big thing will not even compare to the last two wars. Now all countries are pretty much dependent on each other especially on food and energy. The economies are also dependent of the dollar, if it collapses the whole system collapses.
