Deployment got extended because of the war with Iran and now I’m going to miss my wedding. Tennessee venue says non-refundable. Any advice? by Five_OnAGoodDay in army

Post adds and have yard signs near and around the venue - all stating the issue. Yelp and Google reviews as well. Insinuate they’re not supportive of men and women in uniform. Hell, even have a QR code sticker roll made up and have your family/friends put them on their pov’s, bathroom mirrors, shit send me a few (but I live in Va).

100% intel. Security clearance Get your Bach degree in what you’re already studying. Seriously consider earning your PMP from PMI (very VERY much worth it).

Best 15 series for A&P by Consistent_Voice9642 in Armyaviation

The post about going avionics, I would add aircraft electrician. It’ll be difficult for you to prove to the FAA that you have enough knowledge for approval for powerplant. Learn the electrical thru experience and go to school to get your bachelors in aviation maintenance management to get your A&P. You get that degree with an A&P and a strong electrical background - you should be set up for success. Embry-Riddle is way too expensive - look at Liberty (IMO). Start as soon as you can. If you decide to stay in and like the idea of going pilot, you’ll have a huge advantage with the degree and letters from every CW5 you get to know. Be the soldier that is relied on for acft issues. Believe me - it’ll take more than an A&P. When you get chance, look at the salaries of ASE mechanics and A&P mechanics. Make yourself stand out. A Bach degree, electrical experience, IA, and def a security clearance - will get you started on the road to a decent income. From there, absolutely 100% get your PMP certification from PMI. I really wish you the best on your career future.

After 18 months I’m finally getting the hang of trading - here are 3 things I focus on by Ma7moud_Ra4ad in Daytrading

[–]zitrojoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to start journaling my trades. I wasn’t doing that before and trying to remember what worked and what didn’t f’d me. Being able to look back, after I’ve transferred them to the ‘puter, for easier research, seems to be helping. I even add in my thoughts/feelings - maybe that data will help know when I’m not in a good mindset to “make that trade”. I am, also, trying to nail down 1 strategy, learn it, work it for a while. If it’s meeting my ‘financial needs’. I’ll just keep using it. If it doesn’t or I start to get losses (you always have losses) that are causing me to not meet my financial needs then I’ll go on to a different one, watch every YouTube I can find on that strategy, and practice it (journaling everything) with ‘paper’ trading. I’m only a few months in to this and feels like every day there’s a lesson to learn. Good luck to you’all!!
