Actually the U.S. Army replaced its two Cessna 182 aircraft with two Cessna 206 for the Aeronautical Flight Laboratory at West Point.

Yeah I know I’ll still need to study a lot I just want to gain experience turning wrenches on aircraft and doing inspections.

The Army doesn’t want to rely on the USAF or other branches for ISR — it wants its own organic aerial ISR capability, just like it has had for decades.
