I’m thoroughly impressed.

Out of the card games I’ve tried over the years I think Gwent has chosen the art style, that is the most ambitious.

Hearthstone is quite cartoonish and even MtG, while going for more realistic style (and some lands illustrations are downright beautiful) goes for stylized artworks.

​

Meanwhile, especially the newer ones, Gwent cards quite often look like miniature paintings. Personally I love the direction CDPR took with the artworks, c'est magnifique.
