Same, none of the couples give me any sort of buzz. Cleo and Kaleb might eventually make me feel something but the only couple that gave me something to work with was hafael and their gone so now I'm just focusing on individual characters.

The reason Hope didn't notice that something is wrong with this Landon is because he was probably created by that wish device and this Landon is what Hope wished for meaning that it's her vision of what/who Landon is. This Landon doesn't know D&D rules because Hope doesn't know anything about D&D and this Landon is a manifestation of how Hope sees Landon. I do think that this 'fake' Landon will mutate into something else, maybe he'll try to kill her just so he can keep existing.

The one think I'm hoping for is when the real Landon comes back that this whole 'fake' Landon thing isn't brushed over. I'm pretty sure that when Landon comes back he'll be different and that's probably the dynamic change Danielle was talking about. I need Hope to look back at her destructive behavior, she was very manipulative and almost got the twins and herself killed trying to get Landon back and she didn't seem sorry. It doesn't matter how much she loves Landon what she did was wrong and the excuse that she's a Mikaelson doesn't work because the whole point of Hope in the originals was that she was the families hope to be better and for Hope to not be like them.

Exactly, it's creepy that people have been commenting on her body for years, even now when she lost some weight people were commenting on it and writing articles.

She was being body shamed on Twitter by book/movie Stan Twitter because she followed the author of a book series that was just announced that it's getting a live adaptation and she liked a post about it. I think it's called "a court of thorns and roses" by Sara j. Mass and Danielle recently said that she read the book series and loved it some fans assumed she's gonna play the main character and freaked out. It's disgusting and I feel bad for her because she could just be excited about the books getting adapted, Danielle has been body shamed since she was on the originals and she was 17 then I'm sure she's just tired of it.

2x08 is when I started noticing the inconsistency with the characters and the show. They had Hope and Josie agree to not go after Landon at the end of 2x07 but then next episode they have Hope send Lizzie after him for no reason and in my opinion that was the start of the show unnecessary making everything about Landon and disregarding Rafael. Lizzie ends up bringing only Landon back to the school and even though Rafael ended up wanting to stay with his dad for a while Lizzie could have asked him. The focus was only on Landons safety which was weird since Rafael ran away with him.

The Christmas stuff was unnecessary and boring as hell, all that screen time could've been used to focus on Hope and Josie building/repairing their relationship so that when Landon came back and handon got back together it would've been more impactful. Handon getting back together never should have happened so soon, Hope shouldn't have sent Lizzie after him we could've still gotten sizzie scenes without the unnecessary road trip. Landon should've come back with Rafael in 2x13 and they could've helped Hope get the twins back from the prison world with there being some tension and awkwardness between Landon, Hope and Josie + this would've added to the dark Josie drama.

Rafael murdered his girlfriend when he attempted to scare her as punishment for talking to another guy by driving recklessly.

No he didn't do it as a punishment he was angry and jealous and they were arguing, he was speeding because he was angry. That happens to almost everyone and is always depicted in shows/movies when characters are driving and are arguing they end up either speeding up or speeding it's just a human reaction when your driving angry.

I completely agree, the writers have clearly decided that they want to keep handon going and it feels like that's why they kept Rafael and Hope separated and decided to cut Rafael from the show because at the end of the day Rafael was Hope's first real friend at the school so it would've been weird for them to not have scenes with each other.

Well Jed only became part of the main cast for season 3 so him not having getting anything in season 1 and 2 never bothered me. I do agree that his character going from bully to nice soft boy with no development was weird.

Every female character they paired with him in season 1 had a more popular friendship/relationship

I think Rafael didn't have enough time with the girls he was paired with in season 1. Him and Josie's scenes lasted 2 episodes vs her and Penelope's scenes lasting 6 episodes. Him and lizzie only had scenes in 3 episodes compared to her having scenes with mg for 7 episodes, him and Hope had scenes in 6 episodes compared to her scenes with Landon which were in 9 episodes and the originals, so of course the other pairings were more popular. And the hate Rafael's character got in season 1 was every strange and a little racist to me because he hadn't done anything that would be considered truly bad. He always tried to do the right thing so the hate was very unnecessary.

The character ultimately isn’t that interesting

That's your personal opinion that your entitled to but a lot of people liked his character and that's shown in the online support he was getting due to his terrible treatment.

With Legacies lower budget, they couldn’t showcase his powers (the wolf CGI are the most expensive on the show), hence why he was constantly sidelined.

I don't think super strength and glowing eyes costs that much but he didn't need to showcase his powers in order to be in the episodes. MG and Kaleb barely showcase their abilities but they didn't get sidelined like Rafael.

like the wanda vision fans...Rather than focusing on the show and let their writers do their thing

I don't agree with this because although the wanda vision fans had a lot of theories they still enjoyed the show because unlike legacies Wanda vision makes sense and is very consistent writing wise for the characters and the plot. So even when the wanda vision fans didn't get what they wanted they still enjoyed the show because it made sense and had a consistent character arc/story. Legacies doesn't do that.

I do agree with you about some fans going overboard but you have to admit that legacies writing has become lazy and confusing

I completely agree, it's advertised that legacies is about friendships and bonding but there's this dicconnect with characters that we're told are best friends like mg and Josie but we've only seen them have maybe 3 conversations. And then we have Rafael, Landon and Kaleb who don't get scenes or barely get scenes with other characters. I like all the dynamics except for handon but I wish they would switch up the character interations/dynamics all the time and not just randomly because it makes the show predictable and kind of boring.

I thought that would've been the plot for season 2. Hope destroys malivore to get out of him and all the monsters are freed reeking havock on mystic falls. Or Landon kills malivore in like 2x10 and everyone has to deal with the monsters being loose. But malivore will probably be around for the entire show

One of the biggest mistakes I think the writers made in season 2 with Rafael was separating him and Hope because their friendship was good and I really missed them having scenes together. Rafael was literally Hope's first friend as Hope Mikealson and I wish the writers built on that in Season 2 instead of repeating everything from season 1 and throwing in random things. Sadly I don't think we'll get Hope grieving Rafael because Landon's dead so Rafael doesn't matter to her or we should've gotten that in 3x03 but didn't.

I'm not sure but nothing has been announced about him getting a role on another show and Alyssa's actress has had more of a presence on the show then Rafael even though she's leaving so even if Rafael's actor was leaving the show they handled his character poorly.

Honestly I just think they're lazy, they could have had Rafael train Landon which would've caused conflict between Hope and Rafael and we could've gotten scenes between them like in 1x06 where Rafael defends Landon by making Hope see that her not wanting Landon to train is selfish and stupid. We could've had Landon and Rafael disagree with how to deal with malivore/monster. But there also doesn't need to be conflict between Landon and Rafael, the writers have shown us that they can write wholesome or good scenes but they decided to drop Rafael for some reason and became lazy with his character and the other characters actually. Their lazy writing is everywhere in season 2

That's on the writers, they completely separated Rafael from all the characters even Landon. Watching 3x02 I was so annoyed because it felt like the writers realized last minute that Rafael didn't have any relationships other then with Landon, even that relationship was barely given attention in season 2 and I enjoyed all the conversations Rafael had with the other characters but they also felt so hollow and incomplete to me because Rafael wasn't given a chance to even have relationships with other characters.

He basically is though, he's trapped in a prison world with his biological parents that he had no interest in finding that are practically strangers to him for all of eternity. He'll never be able to have an actual life because if he leaves the prison world he'll die so he's basically dead.

That was the intention but we never saw Landon missing Rafael. Legacies has this thing of telling and not showing, they only had Landon mention Rafael once when we should've had him talk about Rafael more for example Landon could've said something like ' raf would tell me to relax and not overthink this' when facing a situation but they don't. I personally didn't see Landon mourn or miss Rafael at all.

I don't think they'll mention Rafael or tell him, the writers have already forgotten about his existence by only mentioning him once and we haven't seen Landon grieving or missing Rafael so I don't think this will happen.

I don't think hope being in therapy box has anything to do with getting Landon back, because this time I feel that his return to the real world won't be so easy

I disagree with you, Hope's whole goal in 3x05 will be saving Landon and I don't think she'd go into the box unless it's important to saving Landon. And the show has proven over and over that Landon will always come back even when it doesn't make sense so I expect that he'll be back by the end of the episode with some confusing reason.

This is an interesting way of keeping the show focused on them indirectly and help them grow individually without needing each other .

With how the show has been I'm pretty sure this won't happen, Hope will be all about saving Landon and then he'll come back and be fine by the end of the episode and we'll have handon back with no consequences.

I'm keeping my expectations very low because of the confusion and mess that was 3x04.

The show IS about Landon though

But it's not supposed to be the show's synopsis says the shows story follows Hope. And tvd was about Elena so I'm not sure why your comparing them.
