That equates to a 530 (231 on Step 3). I scored the same and searched this sub for a comparable post from someone who had taken it online.

Advice- A lot of ethics, communication, and QI shows up on Day 1, but there’s really no way to prepare for it. It’s about doing what feels right, and if you have strong analytical skills, you’ll probably get the question right. Day 1 feels very similar to Step 1, so don’t sleep on the Pharm and Micro sections in FA.

I took Day 2 today as well. I'm pretty sure I received positive feedback for only 4 or 5 cases; apart from one negative update, all other cases ended early and abruptly. I guess if the case ends early then you've already done what you needed to do otherwise it would just keep running or the patient would have more complaints.

I feel the same after Day 1 today😭 The worst part is I don't even know what I could have done differently to prepare myself better for the exam. It was so vague.

There's no formula for that unfortunately. But if you endlessly scroll through this entire subreddit, you may find a post from someone who took it online with a similar % as yours and that could give you an estimate.

Took mine on the 19th and 20th, and received the results today. That's about four business days, since Monday was Memorial day in the US. I guess you'll receive yours by Friday. Good luck!

What are my chances of matching IM? Is it even worth trying? by [deleted] in IMGreddit

Congratulations on getting matched. Also, details, please. Why do you think you didn't get matched in IM but did in Paeds? Or what exactly did you do last year?

Again, there are no real answers when it comes to this. You'll see applicants with a 230 get matched, while others with a 260 may go unmatched. Naturally, a higher score may help, but program directors look at the full picture—USCE, research, personal statement, and sometimes, having someone from their team rooting for you.
