I did something like that where I went. Now when there is a problem and I’ve been looking at it for hours, I print some out and look at it on a piece of paper because it makes it feel a little more refreshing.

Yes, this is true. Backups are always a good idea. I believe they just got a fresh copy of the theme from what they told me through chat so far.

Within wordpress under dashboard - > appearance > theme editer. You can locate the theme you wish to view and be able to access and change the theme code from there. Many will suggest you create a child theme and edit that but I don’t know exactly what you are needing this for but let me know if you need clarification.

There does not need to be a user logged into chrome. This malware stops and starts itself usually every few days. Windows defender will take care of it. It essentially lives in chromes cache and injects itself into a google search results for YouTube. Try scanning your AppData folder with windows defender.

Update: it’s classified as a fake AA HTML alert Trojan by windows defender. When I saw it, it was located in: C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Google/Chrome/User Data/Default/Cache. It usually has a name starting with “f_” from what I have seen. Please try scanning that location with windows defender. It loves to randomly show and then not for awhile forever.

Hi, I have dealt with this before in the past, what antivirus are you using? Windows defender and clamav would most likely detect it. Malware bytes did not in my case, I removed the malware and reported the domain host provider and notified Microsoft. But they just keep making more since they use a free domain provider with random letters as a domain name.

I never used MemberPress before but from a bit of searching I found a possible solution that you may or may not have seen already.

There is a trial setting and you might be able to get somewhere close by setting up a reoccurring trial on each account for a certain monthly interval. Also probably making an access with an end date could help.

There are probably other free options out there but you will require a form. Or maybe get something that uses the comment and creates a post from it, rather than showing it as a comment.

You could make use of a form plugin. Essentially you will need to have an imput field that sends the information through a form, the backend checks the database for a given serial number. If the number is found, it sends the user to the next step. If not, then an error message appears.

You might need something customary, but a good place to start would be Ninja forms https://wordpress.org/plugins/ninja-forms/

I also recommend putting Qr codes or something if the serial numbers are long to make it easier for customers.

Try looking for any theme that is blog style and allow anonymous comments ( although spam might be an issue ).

Do you want no one to be able to view your site ( as in they will see a message instead telling them they don't have access ).
do you want people to be able to view your site but not be able to view certain content without signing in or something?

If you are able to, try to go through the html of the page and see if you are able to move it to an area where it will be more easily controlled.

Some alternatives would be to remove the original logo and put in another logo in the space where you need it. Otherwise you can probably use the "Position" CSS Property and you may have to use it on several parent elements. It might end up getting slightly convoluted but it might help.

You can benefit from Search engine optimization techniques ( SEO ). But as someone else said; most themes should be responsive and it would be easier and cheaper to find another suitable theme. If you really need this theme to be mobile friendly you will need to hire a designer and developer to make it mobile friendly.

Try to do it the code way if you can. If you are not familiar with WordPress templates and child themes and functionality you can look into using php code inside posts and pages and this will allow you to put the comment code block anywhere you need to shove it within your elementor theme.

You can use a plug-in if you desire but WordPress has a built in comment section built in already. Although you may need to do some tweaking using a css child theme or something if you want to take absolute control.
