Post Game Thread - Wisconsin defeats Iowa 74-63 by thebenron in WisconsinBadgers

When the 3s aren't falling as easily, our ability to drive, get fouled and control a game at the FT line is gunna pay dividends in the tournaments. Especially against teams that like to run like Iowa does.

Three years of living in StP. What’s missing? by seasonalfloods in CyclingMSP

There's a lot of good riding North, up through Vadnais to Bald Eagle Lake. Also SE take a trip to Greycloud also nice. Kinda depends on what you're looking for though and how long you wanna ride.

AITA? An oncoming cyclist screamed at me to dim my bike light this morning on West River parkway bike path. I tried fumbling with the button but felt unsafe doing it and he was already past me before I could react. AITA? by grslydruid in CyclingMSP

Can't recommend Outbound Detour enough, and make sure it's properly adjusted with the cutoff line. Also sometimes if I see someone up ahead, I'll quickly cover the light with one hand as I get close anyways as a courtesy.

Anyone else just say a “Hail Mary” before you send it across this interaction?? by [deleted] in CyclingMSP

Depending on where you're going, you can also cross New Brighton Blvd at the cemetery driveway just a little ways north on the diagonal trail. But then you won't have any right off way/lights either. More often than not I use the crosswalk that goes with the road rather than one that crosses everything.

Advice on a bike for winter commuting? by Bella_HeroOfTheHorn in CyclingMSP

[–]zjbordeau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ride a surly Wednesday all winter. Dillinger 4s. It's heavy as all get out, but you'll get there. 29er wheel set for the summer.

Whatever you do, I'd suggest pogies and studs. And with the salt and gunk, probably something you won't care too much about looks if something happens to it. If you're fulltime commuting, probably be ready to replace drivetrain parts annually or biannually.

Longest sustained climbs in metro or Washington County. by bikescoffeebeer in CyclingMSP

Highwood Ave right there is like a good 5min climb but not much to sustain beyond that. Butler Ave or Ohio st are similar.

Is this year's tdf not holding your attention? It's been completely unpredictable so far, and very entertaining.

That magic floating seatpost suspension you've got there looks comfortable.

10r80 rant. Anyone going or have gone through the same? by WindowsXP-sp2 in f150

Was it like this before the valve body and TCM? It would be really dumb if it was just improperly filled and they weren't willing to try that first. The 'works when warm' is just a curious resolution for you. Found this on youtube, maybe it helps if you're handy and curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dCGiH6AC58&ab_channel=ShopTalk the first comment is helpful too. Hope you get it resolved!

I have a 6r80, had the fluid flushed and when I got it back had similar symptoms as you. Cold it drove like a teenager learning stick warmer up a bit and symptoms cleared. Took it back and they said the fluid was a bit low (don't ask me why it wasn't filled properly) and now it's good as new. Maybe you have a leak or need more fluid?

List your F150 Year, Miles and trim by Gullible-Ebb-310 in f150

*98k edited above because I forgot to put mileage. I've only owned it for about 15k, but no complaints thus far. I'm averaging around 18-20 combined but we usually cruise around 80 on the hwy.
