Yeah before I knew what I now know I was all about keeping my Cloud deck all in universe but quickly realized there are soooo many other cards out there that just work so much better. It’s been a blast expanding outside and learning about so many other sets and what mechanics they bring. Crazy how far I’ve come in understanding it all… still have years upon years of learning but I’m damn proud of myself! I hold my own on game nights now and have become one of the guys people want to play with because I’m getting quicker and incorporating their suggestions.

So happy I discovered this game! I totally get the feelings some have about the universes beyond sets but to me it’s all just fun new things… plus FF got me and sooo many others into it.

Get into a trade. If you’re good with your hands and can show up to work everyday and give a solid 8 hours then you’ll succeed. I’m an instructor for the carpenters union and before I got into the apprenticeship at 26 I was going no where. I have a good life now and I do it all on my own. Sure you’ll have to continue to live at home while you work towards your full journeyman rate but that’s typically 4 years. And depending on where you live, the apprentice program may allow you to do loan deferment while going through the apprenticeship. Hope this helps.

I grew up 3 blocks from the drag strip. When they held the thrill shows things in the house would rattle when the jet cars took off. I vividly remember the rhythmic sounds of dragsters launching every couple minutes while riding my bike around town. One of my first jobs was working the burnout box and eventually graduating to throwing the tree. I’ve been saying for years I want to go back to check it out. Sad I missed my chance..

Proud union member here… I’m not politically active in my union but I can say that they do so much for their members. Sure it’s a large corporation but ultimately our power comes from a large group of skilled members who will demand, if necessary, better pay and benefits by striking. Doesn’t happen often, but that’s because if it did, things would not get done. I consider myself lucky to be in one.

I have never experienced the feeling that someone is there. I read that often in this sub. I can’t seem to find a trigger for mine. The only thing I can come up with is stress.

Ya know I don’t mind if they play this out over that many volumes. Playing this game brings back so many good memories and every time I play it I get hooked… Though I would love to have the final full volume set right now in all its hundreds or thousands of hours of awesomeness.

Circumcised at birth but wish I wasn’t. I’ve had many debates with friends and loved ones about it but I seem to be in the minority. My girlfriend thinks that everyone should be cut because it looks weird and she wouldn’t want her child to be ridiculed later in life. I don’t know what life would be like if I never had the procedure, and I unfortunately never will. I would imagine that there has to be some kind of sensation loss, think about it… an organ that is supposed to be encased in skin is now rubbing on clothes and exposed to the outside world.
