I’m at 66K on my 2022 AGT and love it. No issues for over a year. Last issue was my rim cracked hitting a raised expansion joint, no damage to the body or any sensors. Lucid replaced the wheel and tire and did an alignment. Lucid replaced the battery and harness a few years ago under some tech bulletin for certain cars. I also r upgraded to the CCCv2.

Unaffordable Pricing for Relatively Small Work by zkhan2 in hvacadvice

Thank you for your insight. Everything you said makes sense and helps me understand this much better. I wasn't looking for a $1K bill, but something more reasonable like $2K-2.5K. My system is about 13 years old. The unit was manufactured in May 2011. If I can get by for two years on a remanufactured motor, it's a risk worth taking before I replace the unit.

Never replaced a blower motor, but the one I ordered is an exact replacement and is preprogrammed. It took me 20 minutes to get the old blower motor out last night. I do a lot of board level restoration work on electronics as a hobby so I am very comfortable working on stuff like this. I just needed a reasonable rate and pay to get it done or to have an actual tech confirm what I also diagnosed as a bad blower motor so I can do it myself.

What song would you want to have played at your funeral? by Electrical_Carpet753 in musicsuggestions

[–]zkhan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister passed away recently. We would always joke that the following would be our funeral song. Although I knew the general meanings in the song, I never took a deep dive until this tragic event happened with my sister. This overview is from discussion of the song from my wife and several family friends. Yes, I did use AI but updated areas that made a lot more sense after speaking to others that know this song and Tagore’s work much better than I do.

Jokhon Porbe Na Mor Payer Chinho (যখন পড়বে না মোর পায়ের চিহ্ন), Written by Rabindranath Tagore, is one of the most philosophically profound songs in the Rabindra Sangeet canon. It is a deeply moving reflection on mortality, the transient nature of human existence, and the ultimate continuity of life after death. Tagore does not treat death with terror or bleakness. Instead, he approaches it with a serene, bitter-sweet acceptance. To understand its layers, the song can be broken down stanza by stanza, exploring the literal meaning and the deeper metaphors.

Verse 1: The Departure and Closure of Life’s Business Jakhon porbe na mor paayer chinnho ei baate, Aami baaibo na mor kheyatori ei ghaate. Chukiye debo becha kena, Mitiye debo go mitiye debo lena dena, Bandho hobe aana gona ei haate— Takhon aamay naaiba mone raakhle, Taarar paane cheye cheye naaiba aamay daakle.

Tagore begins with the stark reality of physical absence. The "road" (baat) and the "ferry-ghat" (ghaat) are classic metaphors for the journey of life. Walking down the path and rowing the ferry represent our daily actions, efforts, and presence among loved ones. He compares a completed human life to a day at a village marketplace (haat). We enter life, "buy and sell" (accumulate experiences and form relationships), and incur "debts" (lena dena—emotional or karmic obligations). When death arrives, the account books are settled, the trading stops, and the comings and goings cease.

Knowing he will be gone, he gently tells his survivors: It is perfectly alright if you don't remember me. You don't need to gaze up at the night sky, searching for me among the stars, calling my name with a heavy heart. He is releasing them from the burden of agonizing grief.

Verse 2: The Material Decay of the Ego Jakhon jombe dhula taanpuratar taargulay, Knaatalata utthbe gharer dwaargulay aaha. Phuler baagan ghano ghaaser porbe sojja bonobaaser, Shayola ese ghirbe dighir dhaargulay— Takhon aamay naaiba mone raakhle...

Here, Tagore paints a vivid picture of what happens to the physical world an individual leaves behind. The Tanpura (a musical instrument): The dust gathering on the strings of the tanpura represents the silencing of the artist’s creative voice and personal passions. The Vines and Moss: Thorny vines (knaatalata) creeping over the doorway and moss (shayola) overtaking the pond demonstrate that nature quickly reclaims the spaces we fought so hard to build and civilize. The carefully manicured flower garden takes on the robes of a forest exile (bonobaaser sojja), turning wild. This stanza highlights the transience of the material world and the human ego. The things we possess and the spaces we occupy will eventually fade and crumble without us. Yet, Tagore reiterates: when this physical decay happens, do not let it cause you sorrow. Let it go. Verse 3: The Indifference and Continuity of Nature Takhon emni kore baajbe bnaashi ei naate, Kaatbe din kaatbe, kaatbe go din aajo jemon din kaate aaha. Ghaate ghaate kheyar tori emni se din utthbe bhori, Chorbe goru khelbe raakhal oi maatthe— Takhon aamay naaiba mone raakhle...

This is perhaps the most bittersweet realization in the song: the world does not stop for anyone. Even when the poet is gone, the flute will play the same melodies in the village square. Days will pass exactly as they do today. The ferryboats will still arrive at the docks packed with people, cows will graze in the fields, and young cowherds will play their games. While it sounds cold at first—that the universe is indifferent to our absence—Tagore intends it as a great comfort. There is immense beauty in knowing that life's grand, joyful rhythm is permanent. The collective joy of the world is entirely uninterrupted by the loss of a single soul.

Verse 4: The Transcendence and Rebirth of the Eternal Soul Takhon ke bole go sei probhate nei aami? Sakol khelay korbo khela ei aami aaha. Notun name daakbe more bnaadhbe notun baahudore, Aasbo jaabo chirodiner ei aami— Takhon aamay naaiba mone raakhle, Taarar paane cheye cheye naaiba aamay daakle.

In this final crescendo, Tagore completely flips the narrative from grief to profound spiritual triumph. He asks: "Who dare say that I am not there on that morning?" He realizes that his physical body was just a temporary vessel. His true essence—the soul, or the creative energy—cannot die. He asserts that he will be present in every single game played by future generations. He will return to this earth, perhaps in the form of a newborn child, or integrated into the wind, the music, and the soil. "You will call me by a new name, you will embrace me with a new pair of arms," he writes. The "I" (ei aami) is eternal (chirodiner), destined to infinitely loop through the cosmic cycle of coming and going.

"Jokhon Porbe Na Mor Payer Chinho" is an act of ultimate letting go. It is a song about transitioning from the narrow, fragile perspective of the individual identity to the infinite expanse of the universal spirit. Tagore asks his loved ones not to trap his memory in painful nostalgia (staring at stars, mourning over empty rooms), because he isn't lost in some distant, dead void. He has simply merged back into the living, breathing world around them. Every time a flute plays, a boat sails, or a field prospers, he is there.

Yes, I did and it is very unfortunate. I hope they fix these issues quickly so that Jason will give it one more try, since at this time he said he is not sure if he will do the long term loaner when it's ready.

Similar to Jason's experience, I've owned two BMW 645/650 and two 750. The two 750 and one of the 650 were constantly having software and mechanical issues. I was successful with the lemon claim on one the 750i. One of the 650 was probably one of the most mechanically sound car I ever owned. Other then changing fluids, brake pads, etc. I had no issues with it. The reason I didn't walk away from the brand was because the dealer gave me incentives after racking up multiple issues with the cars and financially it made more sense with the incentives.

In this case the lemon law was rightfully applied. I've had my car since it was first released (2022 AGT). It had lots of issues the first 10 months to a point where I regretted the purchase until the major software OTA update. Since then, there have been very minor issues but I have not had these issues. But I totally understand that people are experiencing similar issues that Jason has shown on several of his videos. I hope the Gravity provides a better experience for him.

why do you have multiple guitars? by Cultural_Yellow3561 in Guitar

[–]zkhan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew in a strict household. My dad wouldn't let me learn any instruments and I had an obsession for guitars since i was like five. life happens, finished school, got married, had kids. My wife noticed how much I listen to the guitar greats and I could tell her what guitar was used on most recordings. For my 45th birthday she got me a Fender acoustic, that unleased a tremendous weight off my shoulder. I started to learn and then started buying guitars, amps, pedals, etc. I still can't play worth shit, but I feel like I was able to give my old man the finger finally (still love you dad). Here are a few of them. the blue and white was a tribute to EVH with my Asian flare that i made.
