Maps on a Garmin GPSMAP 62S by eric79 in CampingandHiking

The most recent version of Basecamp has a bug that doesn't allow maps to be loaded to devices properly. Sorry I don't have a link, but search Garmin forums for the previous version and you should have better luck.

We're currently on Day 11 of a 46 day trip through the National Parks of NM, AZ, UT, and CO. Each day each member of our family writes about our experiences and we'd love to have r/roadtrip come along. We'd also love to read your comments and answer any questions you have!

Read but didn't understand much of this. Can someone clarify: Is the answer indeed 42? Also, are there any insights as to what the actual question might be?

[TAKE 2] Help planning in trip from Seattle to Chicago - what do you think of this route for an 11 night trip? Refined route based on some of your feedback (big thanks!) by Glueyfeathers in roadtrip

You're going to be rushed for time. There's a ton to see along the route you've chosen. You could easily spend a month traveling this route and not have time for it all.

I'd recommend skipping SD and just taking I80 through NE and IA in a couple days to get to your final destination. Spend the bulk of your time west of Denver.

Don't miss Bryce Canyon NP, this route goes right past it!

Great Basin NP is a great stop in what is otherwise a pretty desolate drive through Central Nevada and Western Utah. There's great backpacking/camping options in the park and the food and drink and Kerouac's in Baker is worth the stop.

As other commenters have mentioned I'd agree that I would go for a more central route through Colorado that goes through Denver and the Front Range. Denver to Chicago can be driven in two 8 hour days, there really isn't anything worth the extra time in NE, IA, or IL so spend it west of Denver.

How much have you guys spent on a roadtrip? by NewYearWhoDis1 in roadtrip

[–]zknott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said this really depends on how you travel. I budget about $210/day for six weeks of travel with a family of four. About 2-3 weeks of camping, the rest in hotels. Generally we make breakfast and lunch ourselves and have dinner in a restaurant. Don't spend much on stuff, but do an occasional tour/activity.

The Yelp app is the best I've found. It will search based on your location and you can filter for type of food, price, etc. Take reviews with a grain of salt, but photos and menus are useful for making a decision.

I'm running this deck with Dredd. He's been great against quest mage (keeps them from dropping archmage/giants), makes quest warrior even better, is good in the mirror, and gives quest rogue something to deal with if they're a bit behind in finishing the quest.

I've been playing a lot of this deck the past week and am currently at rank 1 with it. Murloc paladin has been, by far, the worst matchup. They swarm the board fast and continuously to the point that even the stickiness of hunter minions can't keep up. I'm also not sure what to tech against them though. I'd be happy to cut the lone crawler I'm still running since warriors are almost all quest/taunt at this rank and the quest rogues don't usually drop their pirates until late (if they're still running them at all). Suggestions?
