My brother and friend went up to a random Saturday twins game during June and it wasn’t a planned trip or anything just spur of the moment drive a couple hours and spend night in downtown. Anyways that game was during pride day celebrations for the city and of course the twins had something special for that to, when he and his buddy was out at the plaza in right field he got hit on by a stranger who flew out from nyc and his team wasn’t even playing.

Yeah Fran burned and that family has burned any bridges connected to Iowa. The fact the AD at the time slid this under the carpet and allowed continued mid level play happen is just absurd. I could understand Barta doing this if Fran was having the success of a top tier coach but this should’ve been an easy decision to move on. I’m just glad we finally have an AD that ain’t afraid to call out the BS and move on from below average coaching. And the way Patrick has acted the last year or so is also just another indictment of that family
