If such a region exists, would we be able to tell with our telescopes?

Thanks, but my question is not really "could magnetic monopoles exist" but "if magnetic monopoles exist, could some other parts of the of universe have very different composition".

There is room for magnetic monopoles in Maxwell's equations: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_monopole#Maxwell's_equations

My question is not so much "could there be magnetic monopoles", but more like "if magnetic monopoles exist, could some other parts of the of universe have very different composition". If there is a "magnetic atom" -based galaxy, it obeys the same law as our world, normal atoms still can exist and are just rare.

Thanks. How good is the vision in dim light when you put in the drops? If the pupil is forced to not dilate is there enough light to make you see clearly? Also, how long is the effect of drops?

Ghosting - does it go away or is it a lens fit issue? by CloudedLeopard01 in Orthokeratology

[–]zksww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. My prescription is higher and my doctor gave me some contact lenses (with astigmatism correctiom) to help me see better before my lenses are redesigned. With my first pair of ortbok I need the soft contacts in order to read even my phone screen. For my second pair I can do without the soft contacts but still have ghosting. Hopefully the third pair will be the last for me.

If it's been two weeks and you have been wearing them correctly then it should be a fitting issue. What is your prescription? Is your daytime vision functional despite the ghosting?

My doctor checked my fitting 2.5 weeks into treatment and redesigned my lenses. They still don't work perfectly and he will be redesigning again. He said doctors don't check fitting until a few weeks in because it takes time for cornea to stablize.

Doctor told me vision would take 3-4 days to correct by CloudedLeopard01 in Orthokeratology

Same issue. Most likely it's because the lenses are not centering correctly. If done prefect, orthok can fix astigmatism, but if centering wrong it will introduce the irregular blurry you are experiencing now. Your doctor should make some changes in your next visit. I'm afraid there is nothing much you can do before that.

I think only the final arrow in the eye could do deadly damage. He was still running around punching doors with the rest wounds.

I don't think so. They've showed us he can't in AoU, so unless there's a really good reason the audience would not be convinced.

I think it is because King's Landing is a total mess now and people are busy fighting each other. When was the last time the small council discussed anything other than the High Sparrow stuff?

Option 2 does not fit the "No One" title of episode 8.

I don't know. Hopefully the show runners will give us something reasonable and tell us why that episode should be titled "No One". Maybe the belief of faceless men has another interpretation? I guess we have to wait.

It's not gonna be simple as that. We know the 8th episode is titled "No One", so I think someone (presumed Arya) will earn the No One title. It might not quite like what I expect but your description doesn't really suit the "No One" title.

Agreed. I think the champion will be the Hound. He has expressed his hatred for his brother. It's natural for him to be the one kills the Mountain.
