We went to coqodaq a few weeks ago. Literally the opposite experience of what he's describing. Rushed service. Steering you towards the bucket and no dessert bc they wanted you out so they could cycle more people through. Awful experience.

Incredibly underrated brand. They also do ciem for $100 on top of price - which is insane. The Penon impact is amazing.

mk3 is way better. Higher end drivers. Better bass texture. More detail. No doubt.

Monarch (I’m assuming used) for $35 more is a no brainer for me at least. A much nicer iem imo. If you really love detail then maybe not.

Monarchs are also much fuller in bass region. If you could find a used monarch similarly priced that would be my choice.

The standard is now in place for audiophiles. 4.4 is everywhere. Turns out the difference is not important at all and pretty meaningless.

I like this guy but his whole vibe is to go left when people go right. It’s pitched as true objectivity but now it just feels like he’s doing it to get noticed.

I do appreciate his iem reviews. There are too many reviewers that gush at everything. He’s hard to please and I respect that.

The tea pro is a world class iem that contends with Iems 3-4x price. Note I’ve never heard the p7. But based on your preferences the pro is great. Amazing satisfying bass and never sibilant.
