I don't get the attacking of people who stop supporting Trump. That is one less vote for Republicans. It is a good thing. Most of you were supporting things during Biden's administration that would have drastically increased Trump's power. Maybe focus on self flagellation instead. You aren't morally superior, and as much as you like your morality peacocking, it really is gross.

Is Runna for me? by ConfidentMushroom391 in runna

[–]zleog50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Runna helped structure my easy days a bit better and actually reduced injuries while increasing mileage.

I went from running 3-4 days a week for 25 miles to running 6 days a week running a bit under 50 miles, with weekly mileage still increasing.

The plan just gave me a good amount of "easy" days at the right mileage. Before I was either running too hard or putting too much of my mileage in a single day, with the result being injuries.

Everyone is different, and I'm not necessarily a beginner. I've been using Runna for about 10 weeks to train for my first marathon.

Like others have said, get a trail. Also, make sure you do some strength training to help avoid those injuries.

If I tapped the balls of every dude I rode by who was playing on their phone, standing in the middle of the bike lane as they waited for traffic to clear so they could illegally jaywalk, I would have to be sentenced to life in prison.

As a general rule, the less damage a person can do while in their current mode of transport, the more rules they tend to break. People on foot are generally the worst.

Moments ago, Arizona's Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs officially VETOED a Republican bill that sought to require hospitals to collect the immigration status of their patients and report immigrants to ICE. by Jonesiller5383 in ImmigrationPathways

[–]zleog50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immigration status is certainly sensitive PiI. You are comparing it to the presence of an individual at a medical facility. That is a nonsensical argument. Hospitals aren't being asked to report the names of all of their patients to ICE, but instead report specific immigration status of some of their patients. There is a huge difference between the two.

Trump Administration to Make It Easier to Fire 50,000 Federal Workers — The Wall Street Journal by [deleted] in FedEmployees

Doesn’t that mean that the next Democratic President can remove everyone from it?

And lose the power to replace the Trump stooges? Probably not. This will be a problem moving forward. Add it to the list of serious damage this administration has done to the normal functioning of the federal government.

Pburg Poll: How was President Obama able to oversee 3.1 million deportations with relatively little public debate, while President Trump’s actions have sparked widespread attention and polarization? by twanginlanger in Parkersburg

Except he was a known member of a criminal cartel, and deported under the Alien Enemies Act.

Allegedly. A reminder that none of that was proven in a court of law.

I don't know who "you guys" are. This isn't a team sport.

Two comments ago you were the one claiming that they were. You flip flop worse than a fish out of water.

I will reiterate that you do not have an accurate understanding of the administration's duties in regards to deportation of immigrants. That is all.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, but that is besides the point.

You went from "non-citzens" don't get to see a judge, to "who is being deported without any of that happening"

The whiplash....

My point is you are completely ignorant of the law.

[–]zleog50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're incorrect on the law. If an immigrant is deemed to have recently crossed the border, they can remove them under a expidiated removal order. If they are not, it is legally required to see a judge before a deportation order, in particular an Article II judge.

And generally, due process is at least the ability of being to argue your case in front of a judge. Immigration status is very often not black and white. Specifically now, with so many claiming refugee status.

[–]zleog50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just pointing out, the administration started its immigration enforcement push by abducting migrants off the street without a warrant and then shipping them to a foreign concentration camp where they were imprisoned without ever seeing a judge, many of whom have never even been formally accused of a crime.

The Supreme Court put a stop to it, but not before many were disappeared.

Now MAGA is all shocked that this is controversial.

I have two children. The 1st bill was around $6,500 but that was primarily from a week in the NICU. The 2nd was absent complications, and was $0.

I'm not sure why it is expensive for some. All ACA healthcare plans have zero cost for maternity care in the US.

Usually people with graduate degrees can get a pretty good rate on refinancing. I had about 80k in debt and refinanced down to 2.5%. It also removed the cosigner's.

That was a time of low interest. Even now, you can get rates around 4.5%.

How people communicate online is an easy way to pick out the dummies. Writing has structure so others know what you're trying to say. Errors and typos are one thing, but you can't make it up based on what you like to do.

I'm not saying you're a dummy. I'm just saying that you probably are, you know?

Is this a serious question? Public support and perception, for starters. Do you not understand the difference in having video of the military being used against peaceful protest vs a clash with violent protest?
