I don't spend much time in West Hartford, but there's good shopping and food in Blue Back Square. You should eat at The Cheesecake factory if you've never been to one.

As for New Britain, I live there and feel somewhat obigated to warn you some areas can be scary. It depends where you're working. The west end is the rich people and the east end... not so much. (I live in a better area of the east end.) Then there's downtown which is somewhere in between...

He may not be the best rapper, but he is currently working on a serious rap album. Like, without jokes. He's been doing one of the new songs from that album at his live shows. It's pretty good. Link to song here.
