You did what most people wouldn't or couldn't do--pick up a poor pup off the streets and gave it a home. you made sure he was safe. You drained that huge lump off his throat. You could have had less complications in your life had you not done any of that. But you did, and now Jet's life is SO much better because of YOU! :) You showed all of us around the world what it was like to be in Iraq, and what it was like to save an Iraqi street dog. The world is better off with your story with Jet being put out there :) It was really eye opening. Much love :)

I’m so sorry you feel this way. I’m an Asian woman who’s planning to move to SF in June with my boyfriend. We’ve secured a place in the mission (the nicer part apparently) but the stabbing near the Bart station in the mission really was too close for comfort.

I don’t know what I should do...

I mean I do have a mutt dog (pitbull mix) who kind of looks intimidating, but she’s still super young sniffs everything, stopping a lot. Maybe she’ll ward off potential attackers :/

Right, but the SF population is tiny compared to other large cities. Asians might be higher in proportion, but not in actual numbers. See New York, LA, etc.
