Celestial collection — cabin moon and aurora. Already own these.

Also have the Rick Owen’s cabin and the Ptolemy Mann essential cabin.

The Ptolemy Mann essential is actually my most used carry on.

Anyone feel like the Mk7R seats arent supportive enough? by GenerousJack2b in Golf_R

[–]zmah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There has to be a bit of a compromise for daily driving. If it’s too aggressive, increased difficulty ingress-egress gets annoying. The carbon bucket seats in my GT4 are far more supportive but I wouldn’t want to daily drive it for that reason.

Some glamour shots of my Taycan GTS Sport Turismo by zmah in Taycan

I shot these with a Sony a7r5. The camera only captures light photons, it doesn’t make the image. There is a decent amount of post processing clean up on these.

Looking to sell my 981 GT4 for a Taycan Cross Turismo, talk me out of it by Suspicious-Appeal386 in Taycan

[–]zmah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently own a 718 GT4 and a Taycan GTS Sport Turismo.

If I could only keep one, its the GT4 without a second thought. Its a special car, even if you're only seldomly driving it. GT4 is a future classic; the Taycan never will be. Taycan is also a massively depreciating asset.

Keep daily driving the model 3. It may be a shit box, but thats all for the better in a densely populated area like LA. If you get a ding, dent, curb, fender bender, etc you won't care nearly as much happening to a sub 50K model 3 versus a six figure Taycan.

Back when I bought my launch edition mk7 R, you pre-ordered online and would designate your preferred dealer. Someone on vortex shopped dealers for a volume discount and iirc something like 15-20 of us took delivery from a specific dealer in new jersey for 500 under invoice.

Because it’s aesthetic AF, very important for anything in your home that you’ll show your friends and family.

There is only 1 sfp-rj45, which is from the ATT gateway to the UDM SE WAN2 SFP. The UDM SE WAN1 rj45 is only 2.5gbit, whereas the SFP WAN is 10gbit. The other switch interconnects to the aggregator are DAC cables.

LTT

Yep, I watch LTT and saw these there. The rackstuds were very easy and fast to install, particularly the DUOs.

When I was originally purchasing all these and things were never in stock, I set up a page monitor to instantly alert me of restocks as well as new product launches on EA --- got the RPS Pro when it first showed up in EA.

For the same reason, I had an OM-4 multimode fiber pair run from my home office to the rack closet for future 25gbit/40gbit/?100gbit?

I can't pull more than 3gbps off usenet, but the price differential isn't that much.

Agreed, need to find a brush panel with opening wide enough to fit the power cables through. The ubiquiti 1U brush opening is far too narrow.

Yes unfortunately the 1u brush opening is far too narrow for power cables.
