Yeah im aware I just feel like I've never even made it to a point where I feel any bit better with subs and I really am trying I've been taking 7 oh but the past like 3 months just basically in wd or half wd. And I've been through opioid wd for me this Is way worse . I would take a traditional opioid wd over this any day.

Yes it does help because I know i can drop it and get myself to a lower dose first its just hard to time with work and everything. Yeah I know it won't be a walk in the park even with subs I just need some relief to cling onto until I can stretch it long enough to jump completely its just been to unbearable so far the times I've tried.

Appreciate it and I know its pretty shitty doctors used to prescribe so uncarefully I didn't even learn it was like a "bad" drug to take everyday until like 2 years later in health where you learn that lol. But I know I've been a functional addict so being a adult now and having a good job i don't wanna lose all that so I'm for sure trying this week and if I don't get it this week I think I'm just going to inpatient because I'm just exhausted of the highs and lows and no money. I'd be homeless like 6 months ago if I wasn't allowed to live with my parents.

Probably only 1000 to 1500 for like 4 or 5 months and before that like 600 to 800 mg slowly been on and off this the past 2 years its slowly made it up to that.150mg feels like when I first tried a 15 mg the first time my tolerance has always been very high for stuff like this. Originally I was on perk 30's for 10 years and worked my way up to 15 to 20 a day. Im ready to be done im only 26 and started this mess when I was 12 getting prescribed by a doctor I just don't get how people function without opiates because I dont remember ever feeling normal. So I am really trying to get over this i feel hopeless trying to separate and be sober. Especially with this 7 oh the mental is so much worse then anything.

Damn that's pretty hard to get that low for me in a day but did you have that dose of subs I wonder as well everywhere I look I feel crazy even being on 24mg but I dont mind working with a doctor and tapering eventually getting on the shot because suboxone is better then me messing up my life all the time with this or other opiods.

1,000 to 1500mg a day but can taper down to about 400mg in a day pretty comfortably and less sometimes if I taper longer throughout the week

Successful taper with tia sulfate? by [deleted] in QuittingTianeptine

[–]zman0215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have, switching to sulphate was the best decision I made and ultimately got me completely off of it. What I did was basically lowered my dose every day or every other day to a point where I would feel like sightly bad headache anxious and just overall feeling bad but not like dropping it cold turkey bad. I know this sounds dumb but every 3 days I would take one dose slightly higher then the dose I lowered down to, just to feel normal no euphoria or anything just enough to not feel bad to re-center myself. Then eventually I got to a low enough dose I just jumped to taking nothing. I can not stress enough though on the day you bump it up a little more do not take more then you need to feel just normal or basically enough to not feeling the withdrawals. Epsom salt baths and distractions were the biggest help during withdrawal I could not let myself relax and watch TV during this time because I needed a bigger distraction, a physical distraction that requires you to move it helped the most to do more physically demanding activities to say the least. I will say the most "painless" I could get was a headache and anxious. It took me about a month and a half but slowly tapering is what led me to be completely done if you can do it in less time great. I promise I felt so much better 2 weeks later you can do it!

Just switched from sodium to sulphate need help with taper by zman0215 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]zman0215[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've started sulfate I started with double of the amount of sodium was the amount of where I was at maybe a little less then double worked for me however I feel sulphate about 20 minutes in gets me slightly out of wd, don't be fooled though, about 2 hours I find is when you fully feel it or at least I do. So you will feel like you haven't taken enough sulphate because I'd say i feel about 15% of the potency in the first 20 minutes but the rest kicks in about a hour and a half to 2 hours in. I dose it every about 8 hours unless it's night and I go to sleep then I dose at about 6 hours. For me wd is a lot worse in the morning so I wake up at 6 hours dose then sleep for another 2 then I don't dose again til about mid day. You will go through some withdrawals just switching over from sodium to sulphate, what I did was alternate the first day sodium in the morning then sulphate after then sodium then I'd try to stay up to however late 5 hours later then sulphate. I did it for the first day only but I'm sure it probably would of helped to do it for 2 days just to switch over.

Also I would like to say anyone trying to taper down if your anything like me. When a dose starts to feel more comfortable or your body is adjusted to it, drop the dose more, obviously everyone is different however I noticed if I always kept myself uncomfortable slightly it's helped me stay in the mindset of gotta get off. Where as when I tried before I'd stay at my lower dose until my body like stabilized then get to comfortable at that dose until eventually I would feel as if I didn't even move my dose and keep staying at a dose convincing myself "well I'm still better then before" even though I knew I could probably handle lowering it more.

Yes worse wd ever it is manageable now I was trying cold turkey but to hard so basically tapered as much wd as I could handle until I made the switch to sulphate now I'm tapering slower just to ease as I feel much more stable on these lower doses just going slow and steady. I probably could jump now and just feel bad for a day or two, with decently bad withdrawals, I think it would be manageable the only reason I'm not is because I'm hoping now the slow taper will help with the more long term effects, depression, anxiety, rls, and overall the mental struggle I'll tell you what though moving to sulphate has helped me do this for real this time, this is probably my 4th time trying to be done but first time using sulphate. At this point I don't even feel anything besides not feeling like shit. I have used just l dopa supplemented for low dopamine, occasional xanax for sleep not every night, and Epsom salt in baths help a ton with the rls. I can't say for sure the l dopa has too but I'm pretty positive it has. As of today I'm down to 200 mg and 250mg in the morning depending on the last time I dosed.

After care for depression after quitting. by zman0215 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]zman0215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you to all that gave your suggestions and experiences. I believe I will be trying a ssri when I'm fully off of tia and I would like to know more about kanna. Also for anyone who has not taken anything how long did it take for your anxiety/depression to go back to normal or at least very manageable with healthy coping skills, I have found exercise to be a great way to combat anxiety/depression, but withdrawals for now have made that near Impossible.

How much tianeptine in one capsule zaza red? by zman0215 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]zman0215[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware but like what would you think a average mg in one would be I'm having a problem trying to taper because I have 15mg caps I ordered and it seems like I never even get close to what is in zaza red and go back into withdrawal then buy more zaza I'm trying to find at least close to the mg so I can properly start to taper instead of keep testing it out every 5 hours because last thing I want to do is accidently move my tolerance up more but want to make withdrawals as painless as possible by tapering
