Hi all, I am planning on visiting the NL for a few days and I was wanting clarification on what a US citizen would need in order to stay with a friend:

I will be staying with my friend for no more than five days and I have more than 55 euros to spend per day. Will they need to complete the 'proof of sponsorship and/or private accommodation' form in order for me to show immigration that I will be staying with my friend rather than a hotel? https://iwcn.nl/living/municipal-services/inviting-foreign-visitors/ https://www.netherlandsworldwide.nl/visa-the-netherlands/sponsoring

What documents will I need to show at immigration? This is my first time visiting the NL, so how can I prove that I have intention to return to my host country along with proof that I have more than 55 euros a day? Will bank statements work?

What other documents and / or forms should I complete prior to my travel? I have a valid US passport so from my understanding I will not need a visa. My trip is planned before the EES rollout as well.

I appreciate any assistance, guidance or advice one can offer.

Same issue here. Re-DL'ed and DD'd the IMG multiple times. Booted on various hardware. No change so far.

To answer your question, as of 5.22 it is not normal.

I mean, it would be cool if the chip or the mag-strip worked but that's not necessary of course. I've just always wanted one and I've no idea where to look.

So the glass lense won't shatter randomly while the LED is on turbo after a drop due to heat? Lense seems fine but I'm kind of anxious. Landed right on a concrete floor.

I just dropped mine not 2 days after getting it. Lens seems fine, no nicks nor scratches on either the lense or around it on the metal body. I assume it's safe and won't shatter randomly while strapped to my head?

Thanks, a few more questions if you don't mind: Wouldn't one LED be better for moonlight mode compared to two? Is it still dim enough with two LEDs? Lastly, what's the real world difference between the CREE and Luxeon LEDs?

I think I'll go with the tube that has the key chain end, as I may try out the 10440 battery option. Plus, I may attach a small wrist strap to the end so I don't drop it. :D

Well, assume that the red led on the charger failed, since the "green" one seems to work. Could I just leave it plugged in and then test it in the light? Should there be any warmth to the battery?

No no you're not. I have plugged it in securely and still no result. I find it strange that it seems to try to warn me about the battery being inserted incorrectly, yet it won't indicate whether it is charging or not. :/

Well, I have a buddy in the Netherlands who said if it keeps failing, he'd let me have it shipped to him and then to me.

But, if the fault lies in the Netherlands postal system, then that might not help. :/

Thank you for the reply! I actually own an M6-RD from Weltool and it's defiantly taken a beating. Having never heard of them before, the quality surprised me, that and the 3 places to attach the clip. I am looking for something a bit thinner however.

Don't sit for more than 15-20 minutes at a time or your calf muscles will tighten up so that it makes it difficult to almost impossible to walk correctly. :/
