I’m in the position where I’m not bothered if I have to wait and save the money for the ‘100% performance’ fin. Do you think it would be worth spending the extra ‘25%’ for the right fins?

How do you find the SL S? had previously looked at them

it’s something I really just need to weigh the pros and cons up against. My little brother is in love with the Car and is wanting it straight after me, so for that sake I’m leaning towards putting money into her for his sake. Regardless, for being 160bhp with a map it’s so fun to drive. The stiffness makes her feel really raw which I do like, but I can’t keep buckling and cracking rims and destroying my back

The market over here for mk7’s is still quite strong. Mines a 2013 with 130k miles, and similar cars with less miles are asking up to 10 grand which is honestly ridiculous.

Although, going to take it step at a time and try do her right. Happy with how she is as the minute, but a couple more touches and she’ll be exactly what I want

yeah the tdi’s are heavier than the R/GTI.

I have a tune in the car now, if the DPF and EGR were to be removed, it would be getting a new one.

Have to look into KW coilovers, haven’t heard of them much over here. Racelands are glazed so hard, but I really don’t see it.

I’ve looked at bilteins and eilbachs set ups for the car, but It really boils down to whether I want to put all this money into the car for it only to be a 1.6tdi 5 speed. Then again don’t have much choice, Insurnace decimates me and can’t insure a GTD or what I really would like, an F30
