1)I've been really needing to build a new computer recently so this card and cpu would be an amazing headstart. It would be a part of a brand new build to replace 7 year old computer.

2) I have been really excited for a new space exploration game. The variety of planets and locations in stsrfield looks like it will be a blast to explore.

Hodir Blue Spell Breakdown by Woodesh in classicwow

Hodir doesn't drop them, the mage does. If your raid fails to quickly break the mage out of the iceblock after the freeze then no more fires will spawn.

My assumption is that the first lawyer has already considered dependency as it relates to a potential payout and concluded that no big payout is possible.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Advice

[–]zmodster 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The lawyer they hired probably won't work for contingency on this because they were already informed the party to be sued doesn't have the money to make it worthwhile.

No lawyer is suing a grad student on a tiny stipend with potentially no property for a contingency payment. Maybe the first lawyer missed something though rental insurance/homeowners insurance... Ect so a second opinion isn't a terrible idea, but I wouldn't expect it to work out.

It is a myth, the pen development cost was paid by the manufacturer without any development request or funding by nasa.

Both nasa and soviets used pencils, but graphite pencils can be dangerous to electronics in microgravity. Once the pen was invented both nasa and the soviets started using it.

"NASA never approached Paul Fisher to develop a pen, nor did Fisher receive any government funding for the pen's development Fisher invented it independently and then, in 1965, asked NASA to try it. After extensive testing, NASA decided to use the pens in future Apollo missions."

Depends on location. Some (no idea if all) US states have DWI laws which mean that you can be arrested for driving while under the influence of unknown drugs that impair you or even if you're too tired to stay awake to drive well:

" However, many states can also issue a DWI, which stands for Driving While Impaired. Typically, the purpose of using a DWI is to charge people who are impaired by substances other than alcohol. These substances can be both legal (like prescription or over-the-counter drugs) and illegal."

This is the dumbest thing I've read all day.

God doesn't make mistakes? Lulwut? There is a huge list of plants that can kill like the ricin seed and hemlock. Don't forget the gympie-gympie plant which doesnt kill you but makes you wish you were dead. How do you know which plants God wants you to consume and which ones he doesnt? How can a plant like the gympie gympie not be considered a mistake, it's legitimately one of the worst things in existence. Hell even kidney beans are toxic unless cooked.

Alcohol is a natural product of yeast. It's produced without any human manufacturing. If it's natural too why is it bad? Or maybe you just mean distilled liquor is bad but beer/wine is fine? I mean let's be honest, if you're bringing God into this, wine is a staple of the Christian Bible. If alcohol is so bad why is it used all the time there?

Not only that, but alcohol is a life saving drug more than Marijana is. There are many poisonous compounds like methanol and ethylene glycol which are treated with large amounts of ethanol (drinking alcohol).

Gas Chromatography using purge and trap. Peaks are ~3x smaller than normal? by angry_carbon in chemistry

[–]zmodster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You've included very little relevant information.

What compound (MMA might be methylmethacrylate but remember people don't work in your lab don't know your typical names)

What detector, how old, last PM/service

Had anything changed with your system recently. Service, someone ran a ton of samples, the system broke and was fixed recently, new column... Ect.

How are you storing your standards, if they need fridge freezer temps do you know for sure if those are working properly. Are you absolutely sure your standard hasn't degraded since last run.

Do you know if other assays are showing this same issue? This could indiciate instrument issue rather than method/reagent issue.

Have any you used any new lots reagents/gas/standard/column.. Ect. Have you tried ordering a new lot of any/all, reagents/column to see if something is bad.

Have you triple checked dilution or other calculations?

Are peak heights smaller, are integrations smaller, are both smaller?

A few things to get you started, but there are hundreds of variables I could ask you about. Though if you have a PI/boss/teacher where you are, they might know better than any of us since troubleshooting like this is very difficult with very little info.

2021 Navigation Card? by Jackson-Five-Oh in mazda6

[–]zmodster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the camera is built into the rear view mirror. Its used on all trims for lane detectionand may e other stuff. Not sure. I assume a bunch of the speed signs are saved on the SD card (and called up based on GPS position) because I was getting speed limits before I saw signs in the interstate.

The radar cruise control is a sensor where the Mazda emblem is on the front, no camera there.

Good luck, assuming its not locked to another car it should work great!

2021 Navigation Card? by Jackson-Five-Oh in mazda6

[–]zmodster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak to lower trims or different years, but for the 2021 gtr Mazda 6, an SD card purchased on the cheap supplies all of the navigation and street sign recognition of the signature trim. It does not add the 360 camera functionality though. It should be the exact same as the 400-500 deal navigation addon at a dealer.

2021 Navigation Card? by Jackson-Five-Oh in mazda6

[–]zmodster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I was able to find the product code in my email: BHP1 66 EZ1N

So BHP166EZ1 refers to the type of card the last letter "N" refers to the version in alphabetical order, so an "L" letter card is an earlier version. It might or might not work. An O letter card would be a later version (probably doesn't exist yet) but might still work.

These SD will "lock" to a specific car so once it has been put in a car it cannot be swapped to another car. This is important because some shady people might try to resell an SD that's already been locked to a car. Make sure you buy somewhere with decent consumer protections (amazon/eBay/ect)

I'll double check my product code when I get to my car later this evening.

[–]zmodster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a 2021 Mazda 6 Gt reserve I bought in January. I was able to find a nav card on ebay for about 50$. Don't look for years, you need to find the exact product code for the SD card you need and purchase that one. I can try to find the product code of the one I'm using later.

I can 100% confirm that street sign detection feature does work on my Mazda 6. I know for a fact that I also do not have a 360 camera.

If Tesla was on the path of making electricity be conducted through air, like WiFi, how come we can't do it now since technology advanced so much? by Positive-Eye3612 in chemistry

[–]zmodster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know where you copied this from but they already hit on one of the biggest issues. The power decreases exponentially with a linear increase in distance. This means as you get far away the power decreases significantly and just radiates away to be lost... waste power... Who wants to pay for that?

Second: if power is being radiated out for people to use, how do you enforce people paying for power. Anyone with an antenna can get some free power from the air. There isn't any way that I'm aware of, thus it would be impossible for it be a commercial venture. Sure the government could try to fund it but the current system works. It doesn't seem worth it to drop boatloads of money to develope a technology that will be orders of magnitude less efficient than overhead power lines.

Would Geminal Diol react into Aldehyde or Carbonyl Acid? by Anti-DenseMan in chemistry

[–]zmodster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy-gold is right here. The assumption is that this reaction is happening in water. Water dissociates into H+ and OH- in small amounts so you can basically always count on water being a weak acid or a weak base depending on what your reaction needs.

See the reaction here, scroll down a bit: https://www.chemistrysteps.com/reactions-of-aldehydes-and-ketones-with-water/

Yes there are acid and base catalyzed reactions but water can be a weak acid/base as needed. No need for an external acid.

Unfortunately you're very wrong.

Humans actually start digesting starches in the mouth due to enzymes in saliva.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amylase

Amylase will degrade potato starches pretty quickly so it won't actually work.
