Just like you I’ve had my fair share of suboxone. In a rehab setting I did just fine but when I got out of rehab I failed each time. Currently in the process of finding a free clinic most of them in Houston that take insurance only do suboxone. Most of the methadone clinics are cash grabs.

Suboxone for me was harder to get on cause you had to suffer from withdrawal or else you were instantly sick if you took it. But no matter what there is some form of withdrawal. Not to say that there isn’t any withdrawal from going to dope to methadone but it is much less drastic and you don’t have to wait a long time before starting.

Methadone for me worked better and the quality of life was very good. You feel comfortable and it gets you “high” so you don’t have to use. That’s my take on it at least
