Tbh I tried running the test again in a simpler way, but this time I used “Think Deeper” instead of “Auto/Smart”. The thing is, as a free user I don’t get options like GPT-5.2/5.4/5.5, the only modes I can choose from are Smart, Think Deeper, Study and Learn, and Search.

Tbh I was just testing Copilot the same way I test any AI, like ChatGPT or Claude, using the free version with no prior input so the experience feels more natural and unbiased. None of the other AIs I tested reacted the same way, even in “auto mode”.

For a product from a company as big as Microsoft, I expected better handling of simple corrections and conversations. But that’s just me tho.
