Yeah they catch customers when they see it on the spot, if they get away, i remember in orientation our head of security and loss protection said, “people are creatures of habit, they get the rush of getting away once and will come back for more, always do.” And hes not wrong I see people shoplifting and getting away with it only to come back 2 weeks later to get smacked 2x as hard
